Starting from March 1st lets babystep our way through the month, throwing in the odd mission.

Sign up here if you want to join in.

We have pointy sticks -> to get you off the sofa and chocolate and stickers as rewards.

Let's end our CHAOS and enjoy our sparkly homes.

It's up to you if you join but I have heard others advise against it because you apparently end up getting hundreds of emails.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 03/03/2012 09:48

Here is the link for Saturday's daily focus HERE

It is sometimes a bit quieter on the Fly threads over the weekend but I will be around some of the time if anyone wants to pop in Smile.

Morning everyone!

I am feeling a lot more like myself this morning. I am still sore but not as bleary as yesterday. Yay!

I have been hunting for make up and getting packed for our night away. My ddad has been and collected pup and twilight for the night so they are sorted.

Ta Das:

Washed and dressed
More or less packed
Have done dd's hair (major job as so long and so much of it)
Had breakfast (so can now take some pain killers) and got everyone else breakfast

To Do:
Feed all remaining animals before we go
Make sure packing is complete
Drive for hours
Wear silly shoes to wedding
Enjoy everyone being drunk around me as I will be sober due to painkillers
Try to have a laugh with dcs on dance floor while I dance like a Mum (which is what I am after all) Grin

Not a bad to do list really Grin

Scout if Mr Scout has found you on Mumsnet then maybe he will realise how sad the clutter is making you and try to reform a bit. I don't hide my user name from dh and I keep myself logged in. He can see if he wants and if I have moaned I am happy for him to see that. It's a marriage. No secrets (apart from what I weigh of course) however painful a truth may be. Remind me of this of course when I am trying to hide things from him please Grin

Dlamis I am judgy about SuperNanny too (despite being the one with a child seeing a psychologist Hmm) My dcs are never, ever that bad although I might be sometimes Blush

Waking to a shiny sink is really, really lovely!

See you all tomorrow.

I agree, I was pleased to walk in the kitchen at 1am with a screaming toddler this morning to a clean, tidy sink.

Have a great time at the wedding carrots :)

Ta dahs so far:
Fed and watered dh and dcs (I have had 2 cups of tea, don't 'do' breakfast)
Pan from poached eggs washed and plates in dishwasher
Done whites wash and hung to dry
DS1's bedding and our duvet/pillowcases currently in wash (will do our sheet and ds2's bedding when it's finished)
Done some ironing - about half an hour/40 mins I reckon
Started to sort ds1's room a little bit. This will however be a mammouth task. Babysteps today Wink

Still not dressed though as ironing always makes me feel yucky so will shower in a minute. Possibly going new car shopping today

Where is everyone btw? I'm north east - anyone else up here?

BlackCatTryingToFly · 03/03/2012 11:27

I am trying to start on my tidy up/decluttering and am Grin pleased with what I have done so far this morning. I have so much mess/untidy areas that I am concentrating on 1 small area at a time.

Hope the wedding goes well Carrots.

What does everyone else have planned?

liveinazoo · 03/03/2012 11:43

I wouldn't say anything on here about the fat grumpy bastard that I wouldn't say to his face

Grin
BlackCatTryingToFly · 03/03/2012 13:10

bessie Shock and Grin about Mr bessie.

I have done 2 shelves of tidying on my welsh dresser (Hot spot).
Have now moved on to clearing some plastic drawers of paperwork Shock so we can use them for toy storage (see my other Good Housekeeping Toys thread for details if interested).
I hate paperwork but only because I have too much of it and it is unorganized.

bessie26 · 03/03/2012 14:19

hehehe... he's not really that fat Wink

I've not done much as I have been entertaining the DDs (DH is out playing golf - are all your DHs around today?) - they have gone for a nap & I am considering joining them again as I still have this horrible sinusy headache. I really should do something though....

chaotic - did you look at new cars? That reminds me, mine is full of rubbish - will pop out with a carrier bag while I'm waiting for my Brew to brew.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 03/03/2012 15:20

Have given up now on the paperwork clearing --was loosing the will to live!-- but managed to clear 1 drawer Grin.

Am going to spend the rest of the day chilling, cooking tea and entertaining the DC.

CamperWidow · 03/03/2012 18:15

Well I have managed to keep my kitchen spotless, all washing done straight away and dried and put away, and surfaces wiped. I've been really strict with myself over the babies bottles too, we only have two and I'd normally wait and do them both at the same time, but I have been doing it as soon as the bottle is used. Nomore waiting for the water to cool!
I can't believe how much better I feel! I gave the bathroom a quick swish and swipe as it was my hotspot yesterday and DH said it looked great!
Happily FLYing over here near Ashbourne. Grin

bessie26 · 03/03/2012 18:47

Well done Camper! (and well done MrCamper for noticing!!) Keeping the kitchen clean has been something I've been focussing on for the last few weeks & it's SO nice! Also, I find that DH is more likely to keep it clean if it was clean to begin with.

BC well done with the paperwork, I really should do some myself

liveinazoo · 03/03/2012 19:03
