Starting from March 1st lets babystep our way through the month, throwing in the odd mission.

Sign up here if you want to join in.

We have pointy sticks -> to get you off the sofa and chocolate and stickers as rewards.

Let's end our CHAOS and enjoy our sparkly homes.

I forgot, I also made rice pudding in slow cooker for tea - DD1 is quite excited & keeps asking to smell look at it!

The DD's are both napping, so I'm making a start on next weeks, meal plan

Today's babystep is about writing 'inspirational messages' - the thought of that makes me want to but I guess it would be useful to have motivational reminders? Off the top of my head I can think of

  • This shit job isn't going to take as long as I think
  • I'm going to end up doing this shit job, so I may as well do it now
  • I can actually do quite alot in 15min
  • Just 15mins & I can have a Brew
  • I really should stop arsing around on MN & do something useful

Have you got any?

BlackCatTryingToFly · 11/03/2012 14:59

Grin bessie

Mine would be a bit like this:

  • I have just hoovered this floor --so the DC can drop crumbs all over it-- to make it look nice and clean.
I am just having a break --I am really procrastinating about doing the next job-- so I have energy to do the next job. I will wash these clothes --so DD can come along and wipe biscuit and yoghurt all over them-- to make them lovely and clean. I will cook some nice food for us all to eat --so the DC can say they don't like it--.

carrotsandcelery · 11/03/2012 15:18

Hello all!

Ta das:
Shined sink last night before bed
Went through fridge this morning and got rid of smelly/out of date things
Sorted out the coffee area in the shop
[proud emoticon] went for a run!

To dos:
Dinner tonight... I have shortcrust pastry, any ideas? Maybe an onion tart?
Put a load of washing on tonight
DW load/unload

Still need to get arse in gear and put several thing in for dry cleaning. This includes my coat .

I am good at this kind of thing if I put my mind to it zoo but I'm a terrible procrastinator. This thread has been a great kick up the bum :)

carrotsandcelery · 11/03/2012 17:02

What sort of shop is it LA? (or should I really ask that on the other thread) Confused

OP posts:
BlackCatTryingToFly · 11/03/2012 17:13

1 x washing up done.
Dinner is in the oven

Later I need to:
hang wet washing
put away any dry washing
sort school uniforms for the morning
Do bedtimes for DC.
wash up after dinner.

carrotsandcelery · 11/03/2012 17:23

Meal made and eaten
Dogs fed
Bath running for ds
Can I go to bed yet?

OP posts:
BlackCatTryingToFly · 11/03/2012 17:27

Grin Are you tired then carrots?

< wonders what happened to zoo >

carrotsandcelery · 11/03/2012 17:31

It has been a testing 24 hours BC.

I will endeavour to stay up long enough to eat my Minstrels though. Grin

Maybe if I wave the bag around it will tempt zoo out of hiding!

OP posts:
BlackCatTryingToFly · 11/03/2012 18:57

dinner is done and eaten,
wet washing hanged up
just chilling out for a bit now before bedtimes.

Scout19075 · 11/03/2012 19:52

Ta Dahs:

Day spent with my boys (and MrScout did not talk about work nor look at emails all day)
Toddler in bed
Dinner made & eaten
Vegetable stock made and now cooling before I strain it

To Dos:
Washing up
Straining stock when it's cooled
Put soup in the slow cooker to cook overnight
Eat ice cream

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 11/03/2012 20:11

Well I am very amazed proud to say there is not a scrap of ironing left to do in this house Shock Even the washing on the line got taken straight in and ironed this afternoon...that is a small miracle in itself Grin

I feel much better for having decluttered a little bit in the bedroom. Still more to go but it feels much more manageable now!

I've also taken the plug out of the main bathroom and bleached it so it's draining well now. Now I just need to do a deep clean of the three bathroom(s) which was supposed to ba last Monday's job Blush

Tea cooked and eaten. About to go and clear up/put dw on then watch the end of the film I was too tired to finish last night.

Scout19075 · 11/03/2012 21:26

Of my To Dos I've Done:

Washing up
Straining stock when it's cooled
Put soup in the slow cooker to cook overnight
Eat ice cream -- commencing now
