Should I start a new "Chat" thread then (but on the good housekeeping board)?

It might help us focus on our to do lists ???

will 2nd thread just have us sitting chatting too much?

I'll wait to see what the others think.

I think it would help us focus on our lists, and make it easier to "keep up" when you can only check in a few times a day.

Morning everyone.

A chat thread sounds a good idea. As bessie says, then if you are only popping in now and again you don't get swamped by us muttering having deep intellectual conversations.

I have served breakfast. That's it really.

The girls are outside playing football with pup. Ds is on the wii playing wii sports. Dh is about to take pup for a run. Twilight is sniffing around hoping for breakfast debris. I am hiding behind the laptop with a It is a beautiful sunny day here so I think I will try to get us all outside... in a little while.

Right, I am back, Just been off to do a bit of washing up .

Right if all agreed then I will start a "babysteppers Chat" thread. I will try to link it if I can [novice emoticon].

I should go off and do the dishes too.

bessie I think there are shops which do jean fittings. Gap used to do reverse fit for those with little waists and female hips but they stopped doing them years ago (unhelpful). I think Levi do a range of shapes (at a price) too.

Washed up last night's remaining dishes and slow cooker
Washed up this morning's breakfast dishes
Washed out stock pot (just gave it a rinse to make sure) in anticipation of use today
Got Toddler ready for a shower (he's currently in there now)

Am about to:
get dressed
get Toddler dried & dressed
restock diaper bag (used a lot of nappies yesterday while we were out)

I am washed and dressed finally.

I have also put the guinea pigs out on the grass as it feels roasting today and is gloriously sunny.

I am now showered and dressed, Just gonna have another before I put some washing on.

Dry washing folded and put away and everyone fed.

Now waiting for the wm to finish as it is a scorcher here.

Not washed as I never do before housework but all dressed and dcs' shoes on (to play outside)
Window in living room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom all opened and back door opened for dcs/dogs/to air house
Done an hour+ of ironing (including 6 shirts, one of which was a black tie one - I bloody hate them)
Done a sort-out of clothes, re-arranging a drawer to put some more of dh's clothes away that before were homeless
Found a nice Clinique box and put all my costume jewellery into it so it is no longer spread right across the chest of drawers and I can dust it now
Dark load in wm and now hung on the line
Made sandwiches for lunch
Wiped down outside table so we could eat outside
Washed out a pair of pants as my 3.3yo wet himself

I have hung a load of washing and put another load on to wash (and made dh a bit cross by asking for his running clothes which were in the bathroom with him and he was in the bath).
