DS2 went to docs on Mon am, had the nebuliser, talked Nanny through every variation of plan, went to BF course (late but never mind), then train to London, spent far too much on mat clothes in Kensington

Well DS is in bed finally after freaking himself out by pooing in the bath All quiet for about half an hour now so fingers crossed that is him down until morning.

Was hoping for a lie-in from DS2, no such luck, but i think i slept for 8hours straight :)

Explain this:
Yesterday the sun was shining and showed up tons of dust etc. I did not dust.

Today the sun is shining in exactly the same way but there is no dust .

I have cleaned the kitchen and hoovered but surely that doesn't explain why there are no longer lots of dust particles fairies dancing merrily in the stream on sunlight coming through my patio door?

ALi - yes, peer supporter, in this area the groups are called Mum2Mum, i've been going to mine since DS1 was a few weeks old, still go most Tuesdays even though i'm not feeding at the mo, sometimes i help make the tea to justify my presence, lol.
They were very good to me when DS2 was going through al his stuff, and it's always been somewhere he feels safe/content as not too big a room or group.

DS2 awake coughing from 5.15 and DS1 being v uncooperative this week, getting up at 6-something instead of waiting til 7 like he's meant to. Means i get this little woodpecker-impression 'can i have my tv?' 'when can i have my tv?' 'this news is boring' 'can i have Ben10?'......

Ali, that is great. DS isn't too bothered about the potty. I need to get him potty-trained soon though. He is getting too big to put on changing stations in public loos etc. He had about three girls clustered round at playgroup the other week telling him that they didn't wear nappies anymore so peer pressure may help.

Wasting i only potty trained DD when she was showing that she wanted to be (aged nearly 3) iyswim? but she has night trained herself straight after, so feel it was the right decision (for us)

New washing machine has just arrived after our old one broke at the weekend, amazingly don't have too much washing to catch up on

Morning all.
Well done miniAli - potty work is so hard, especially with boys, that is a big step!!!! My DS just could not be arsed. Knew what to do, and what was needed, but would rather just stand and wee his pants than get to potty/toilet.

Whereas DD came home from nursery one day, aged 2 and a bit, and simply said, Megan wears big girl knickers now, I want to wear them Mummy. And we were done, potty training in approximately 30 seconds. .

Another monster list, and today, I will get more off this damned list!!!
