Morning DS2 up at 6am after days of later starts.

And DH, grr, i got up to wee when he came to bed so, he manages not to see me get out of bed, walk around the bed and leave the room. As i come back into the room he gives me near heart failure by appearing at the door - thought i was still in bed Hmm and that it was DS1 prowling around. I was mostly asleep and it made me cry . What an idiot!!

Ali - well tbh he's a waste of space and has threatened to leave before, said he didn't want to be a Dad actually - 3 kids later....Hmm

Alice - poor F :( DS used to just feed and feed and feed when he was teething - not good for getting things done!

I am so tired, think the chances of the hoovering happening are slim unless DH has time to do it.

Well thing is with this friend, we've been here before - not as bad i admit. he announced he was off a while back, they agreed he would stay to help with kids & mortgage then gradually things seemed to improve - last i asked her about it in Dec she said things were really good. Now he's moved out. I will find out the full story later.
Also he's got no money, has no real job, is a true waster if i'm honest. guessing he's moved back home to Mum and will waste the rest of his life away.
We were going to meet for lunch but change of plan as she's not letting him in the house so he can't mind the youngest DC so she's coming here later instead with the LO.

He can remember BFing so is very interested to know that the baby will have my 'mik-mok' too. I'm expecting that he will want to join in Grin

I had to explain to my friend's 6yr old DS yesterday where F's milk came from. He asked "Where is F?" when i explained he was feeding "But where is his bottle?" "Well, you know women have breasts? Well they are there to make milk for their babies to have" His reply "Oh, cool" then wandered off Grin DD has never been that fussed, just accepted that F has mummy milk.

Hello all, I'm almost back up to full listing strength but finding I'm so tired still. One trip out a day is enough for me right now, c-section really took it out of me (no pun intended).

Weekend
Put A's chest of drawers together (with help from DH)
Do Tesco online shop for next week
Flute practise (now seems totally luxurious use of time!)
Get DH to clear passageway at back of house
Package up baby clothes not needed by A
Paint samples for A's room?
Plan lunch for Sunday

FreakoidOrganisoid · 07/01/2011 18:00

Doing very badly on list front lately sorry!

Had humiliating moment in local shop earlier when dc were running around completely out of control and I had to properly YELL at them to get them to behave. Why do they do that, it's like as soon as ds gets into tesco express he turns into this crazy feral child with no idea how to behave. They were also running around with friend's dd and I yelled at them collectively then had to apologise to my friend for having shouted at her dd though she should have stopped her anyway. Anyway just one of those moments that makes me feel like an inadequate parent.

WC might be splitting up with gf...his nan has been telling me he isn't happy for ages and then yesterday I saw him and he said he has never been this broke before. I said must even harder with two families and extra child to support then he told me her ds had been crying that morning because wc and gf are always fighting. WC said to me that they fight over everything and anything and that she told him as soon as the tax credits went in they'd go and cancel the joint account and divide everything up. He said he feels like it is her house and he is in the way so he told her he'd be moving out...

I kind of think he wanted to see how I'd react and maybe wanted me to say oh good you can be with me then but I didn't. I was sympathetic to him but don't want him to be thinking he's got me as his back up plan! And obviously I didn't ask for any further details or offer advice because I don't really enjoy talking about the details of his relationship with gf.

Not sure how much of the stuff he told me was just in the heat of the argument and whether they are actually about to split but if it is affecting her son like that I can't see her staying with him much longer unless they stop arguing so much. I wouldn't anyway.

Sooo, we'll see what happens there.

JustKeepSwimming · 07/01/2011 18:26

Freak - kids know exactly what winds us up best. Any other parent will have been there themselves/or will be one day.
Interesting about WC, wait and see what pans out i guess....

DS1 saw Peter Pan, think he enjoyed it, he was back v late and currently having sandwich in front of the tv - what a treat!!!

Hold steady Freaki. I always suspected that things couldn't be that brilliant with his gf or he wouldn't be so close to you. He obviously needs to sort it out, I hope he gives himself and you some emotional space, and being broke is no fun and has repercussions in any relationship.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 07/01/2011 21:20

Freak - I never feel anything but sympathy for parents in that situation! Not looking forward to that stage with DS.....
