A couple of years ago we had some friends to stay for NYE, they had a 5 month old too and we all spent the night trotting up and down the stairs trying to settle the babies and necking champagne inbetween - it was
But impossible to go out I think, babysitters would cost a fortune I imagine.
We are going to cook some nice food and fall asleep infront of a film. We both like watching the Jools Holland thing which is on every year so will have that on I expect.
JKS - DH has lost 2 stone this year but has decided that he wants to lose another stone before the baby comes, so we are going to get a half bottle of bubbly
It is v.sad for our friends. They will be fab parents when their turn comes and it is heartbreaking. They are the ones who lost a baby at 16+ weeks last year, this miscarriage was earlier in the pregnancy but that doesn't make it any easier. I am so :( for them.
Well I'm in bed, clearly a week with my mother was more exhausting than I realised
It is sooo nice to be home.
