Curious because lately I've let things slip (understatement!) and I need to know what things to do everyday to keep on top of it all again.

Grin at DooinMeCleanin

We have a small mouse that nibbles at cheese, left over pizza and cakes in the fridge. Am concerned for the mouse's cardiac health Hmm

The only thing that gets done every day, without fail, is cleaning up the kitchen.

Everything else is flexible Smile

"None.

Some days I don't do a load of washing
some days I don't put the diswasher on
some days I don't do any washing up
some days I don't put any clean clothes away

I never make the beds unless someone is visiting

Just about the only thing I do every day is make sure that leftover food is thrown away properly, because I don't want the house to smell."

Yep, that's about the size of it in this house too, but it is getting to the point where I'm slowly losing the will to live.

I have also had the realisation that I will be returning to work in about 7 weeks time Shock so need to get on top of it.

We are having a mass sort out in the kids room today, making way for all the plastic tat presents that they will get for Christmas. It's difficult atm because DD1 and DS are sharing what can only be described as a longish box room. DD2 is due to go in there once she is reliably going through the night because there is no room for the cot anywhere else.

"came in for a nose. Am Shock at 'make beds'. Dont your kids do their own?"

Do you know how many times I say, "DD1 don't forget to make your bed. DS don't forget to put the cover back on the bed..." It's neverending! DD1 even has a chart of things she is expected to do around the house. for which she receives pocket money. She did enough to earn £1 last week Hmm out of a possible £5 and £1 of that must be saved for our holiday next year.

Not a very good week for her last week Hmm

It's interesting to read your lists.
