Morning goingrounthebend!

That is quite a troop you have there - we had a list somewhere (not immediately to hand!) of the various ages of our children and grandchildren... I'll see if I can dig it out. If you are prepared to share the info, what ages are yours?

Great list BTW!!

anonymousbird · 05/11/2010 10:27

And fumble, sorry, hello too - not sure we have met before... How Do You Do?

My DD who hates dressing up (weird girl!) needed to go "Diwali" style this morning - was absolutely convinced that my sarong turned into a sari would be a battle to persuade her.... But NO! Maybe I do have a girl after all, she was so pleased to go all colourful etc.. she is emerging from her tomboy haze perhaps?! She is more a rugby playing/football playing/ Formula 1 watching kinda girl most of the time so I was very surprised.

However, she drew the line at a Bindi, which was a shame!! Even the boys were in some fantastic outfits, such fun and so great for them to embrace the culture... brilliant.

I love Essex, it's gorgeous around here and great accessibility to so many places... . Didn't grow up here, but DH did and luckily, he persuaded me to come and live here rather than my neck of the woods which is just nowhere near as nice!

Darling bastard dog being picked up imminently by MIL.. love her and all, but finding time to walk her right now is hard, so yippppeeee, the dog is off to the seaside. One less thing to do for next 5 days!

I worked for a while in Halstead and that part of Essex is lovely.
I'm kind of in the corner and that makes going anywhere else a bit of a pain for traffic, but it really isn't as bad as the stereotypes make out (though i missed all that tv prog which i've been told was awful!).

Hello everyone - we are home! Hello new slatterns Grin

Hope everyone is ok - any firework plans?
