Hello cc! Hope everything alright in your world?

Anon - we were in the New Forest, just outside Lymington. Can you postpone the bonfire until tomorrow? Looks like it's going to be a much better evening.
I am now 20 weeks if you want to update your list? Next scan on Wednesday!

Comtessa - yay for the bed!

JKS - Envy that is a good prize!

Tiredness has hit me, and DH. Just getting DS into bed now and then we'll tidy up and go to bed I think. Parents are coming tomorrow so house does need a bit of attention.

He's away for 3 weeks now, and then a couple weeks more after that.

I'm buying us each an XBOX 360 game. Apart from that I'm not sure if we'll get more than some stocking stuff. Usually it's a pile of books, CDs and DVDs, though I'm trying not to brings DVDs into the house and am actively getting rid of CDs now!

(Waves to cikecaka)

Thanks all for bed-congratulations! Can't wait. Neither can my knees. Not much listing going on here this weekend as today was just clearing up from housewarming done, bits and bobs in town done and flute practise done.
Enjoying last quiet weekend with DH before in-laws arrive for two months - NOT staying with us, but still, DH is an only child. And I'm carrying the first grandchild. And we haven't seen them since March. So, that'll be our last quiet weekend until they head back to the US in January. Which is fine, as we all get on great, I'm just mentally preparing myself as this is the longest time we'll have spent with them.
Outpouring over. Hope everyone's having a nice weekend with sunshine. Will get back to listing properly on Monday.

PlumBumMum · 07/11/2010 11:48

Morning everyone :)

Having a nice weekend with my parents here. We all went to lovely fireworks last night, DS loved it and has been running round all morning shouting 'bang bang' Hmm
They have just taken him to the park, so having 10 mins peace and quiet before I go and have a very belated shower!

JKS - I can still fit in one or two non-mat dresses, not for much longer though!
DH has requested a trumpet for Christmas Hmm. I am going to get him one from ebay. I normally get him a couple of books and a few stocking bits.

For DVDs, we load them all onto the PC we have under the telly which is somehow plugged into the TV (DH's department!) and then they go in a crate in the garage rather than taking up space in the house. Works v.well, and means we watch them much more than we did when we had to find them and put them in the DVD player

DONE
Lie-in for me :)
Breakfast
Unload dishwasher
Clear up
Hoover round
DH to Sainsburys
DS to park with GPs

TO DO

Morning all :)

The reception was ok i guess, i might start a thread on how not to do an evening bit for those planning weddings though. No extra chairs for us to sit down - we eventually took over an abandoned table and hoped they didn't come back!, and vvvv overpriced bar (about £3.50/4 for an oj+lemonade), etc.

Luckily the others were happy to leave at 9.30 so we were all in bed by 11.30 (was out in the sticks).

Right, new week, DS2 up at 6, DS1 at 7, life might actually be human if they keep this up!
