Who has sky?

What's good to watch on it? And when?

WC gave me his sky player log in so I can watch it for free but whenever I remember to check there isn't anything I particularly want to watch on it...

WastingAway · 03/11/2010 11:42

Freak, Biggest Losers on at 12pm on Sky 1, You've got Bones and Lie to Me tonight from 9, Americas Next Top Model is Monday at 9 on Living.... Grin

Badge and balloon and cakes for his classmates Wink..

I imagine choc flapjack will be just the ticket. Smile

anonymousbird · 03/11/2010 13:27

Yes, we have Sky, but as JKS says, its most useful feature is the sky plus (how did I ever live without it). We don't watch much "Sky" as it were, but as it is Autumn Rugby and Ashes soon, we have subscribed back onto sky sports (at vast expense Hmm). We mostly record the regular/freeview type channels and then watch whenever. Never need watch another advert ever again.

Yeah I can record or watch on demand on my vision box, watch most stuff on demand rather than live. I've watched a couple of football games through wc's sky but that's about it. Still was nice of him to let me have his account details even if I don't actually use it that much(and very trusting of him seeing as I could mess with his subscriptions etc if I wanted to!)

DS fell asleep earlier so I got in bed with my book and a cup of tea Grin

Anon, JKS and Mini - I didn't even let fly with the whole nine-months-pregnant rage at the bed company, probably I should have done but I was seething enough anyway! A crane might well be a good idea, especially if it were combined with some kind of rope pulley system. Will speak to FIL, he likes a DIY challenge Grin

Had lovely day with my mum yesterday picking up essentials for LO - including some fab nursing PJs for me.

Today
Washing up
Hoover downstairs and stairs
Clean and tidy downstairs in preparation for housewarming tomorrow
Food shopping
Write and post thank-you cards
Find tools...
Flute practise

Happy list-ing everyone.

minimammoth · 04/11/2010 09:31

A worky day today, so I'll be off in a minute. But.. Doom is gradually clearingin the office. I have put masses into the recycling and have 2 piles left one of which is current and most of the other os scrap paper that I can use on the other side. But now we have recycling I don't feel so guilty about letting it go. I am in danger of finding the window ledge! a sort of sub division doom.

Mr Mini enjoyed his birthday, next treat is having DS come down for bonfire night.

JKS re out of date stuff. I am ashamed to tell you that the christmas cake I made the other day had out of date fruit, peel and cherries, and I mean well out of date (2007)Blush. it smelt ok, not mouldy, colour ok. Nothing actually wiggling in there, so in it went. Time will tell. Feel like a true slatter.Grin
Holdds breath to wait for judgement.

ImASlatternGetMeOutOfHere · 04/11/2010 09:34

Hope you enjoyed having control of the remote last night JKS :)

Plum at least you have had some fun with it :) and I am sure you will look gorgeous with your glam hairstyle and dress, which looks fab by the way. If you have got those diamante bits, you probably don't want too much going on in the neck area, just earrings and bracelet and possibly a choker style necklace but I am not even sure of that.

anon I sympathise with the early wakings. We had that when DC2 got a DS for his birthday and we had to instigate a no playing with it until after school rule. That soon stopped him getting up.

comtessa glad you had a fab day with your Mum.

I am feeling really rough today, have had D&V since yesterday afternoon. Went to bed as soon as DH walked through the door. I will probably go to bed when DC3 goes to nursery and try and get an hours kip.

Hope everyone has a good day.

TODAY
everyone up,showered,dressed,breakfast,lunch boxes made,school DONE
dc3 to nursery
washing machine on 2ND WASH IN, 1 HUNG UP
dishwasher empty and fill DONE

strip DC3's bed as he wet it last night

15 minutes on the sock pile of doom
15 minutes on the paper mountain of doom
wipe kitchen cupboard doors down
clean white goods down
wash kitchen windows
