Hi there. No laziness here. Have done bedrooms and polished furniture, (also quick moth check)mopped kitchen floor, and conservatory floor, cooked sunday din, eaten it, done a load of washing and cleaned bathrom.
Fueled by anger at ex H's girlfriend telling lies and upsetting my lovely DD2 ( who is pg and could really do without it). and is now manipulating so that he won't see his family or be a grandad to his DGCs. I am Angry and Sad Am off to have a swear.

Hi everyone :)

Plum - the dress is lovely, you will look v.glam. Do you have a little shrug or something you could wear with it if you are feeling a bit exposed?

Mini - Angry what a cow. Mind you he is an idiot to let it happen so blame should be apportioned equally I suppose.

We haven't started packing yet, but the house is all clean and tidy, spare room ready for parents when we get back, and we've shopped for nappies, snacks etc to take with us.
DS is having a little sleep - his timing is all thrown out by the clocks, but we want him on late bedtimes while we are away anyway so not too bad I guess.
Then DH and I are going to tackle our pumpkin and put it out front so that the children in the road know they can t-o-t if they want to.

Bump is growing hourly it feels like, and I've got Braxton Hicks already [hhmm]

OP posts:
minimammoth · 31/10/2010 16:17

Plum dress is lovely, you will look fab in it.
Enjoy your hols Ali, bump will be kicking soon no doubt.
Both my DDs upset over their dads behaviour, and his taking her word as gospel. so imagine this: me with a large heavy frying pan swinging like an olympic shot putter and landing a good'un, no guessing where.evilGrin
am nice really.

JustKeepSparkling · 31/10/2010 17:19

Mini - Grin

Ali - wow at BHs already, i hope i don't get them too early. Some days bump doesn't feel too big, other days i feel enormous. think the aches are actually improving....

FreakoidOrgansandBloodoid · 31/10/2010 17:34

Mini that is awful, your poor dc. I will join you in the ex-h bashing. Phone went at 4 am this morning and when I looked there were 3 texts from him

Text 1 - sent at 12.50 - No matter what u are doing or who you are with rite now...ive always loved you in a way that i Truly apologise 4 nt showing it...

Text 2 - sent at 2.15 - I completly understand how u can feel Nothing towards me - when I feel the same bout u - lovely!!

Text 3 - sent at 3.55- Slut!. Game on!

Angry Angry Angry

I phoned him and said I suggest he stop sending me texts now and he had a go at me for not replying. It was the middle of the effing night! Then he started ranting about how he'd sent me a nice message and I'd ignored it because I was too busy with someone else Hmm I was alone, in bed, asleep.

He phoned this morning and apologised. I told him I thought he needed help and he needs to see someone about his issues. To which he replied that it was because he cared about me and loved me so much and that was why it tore him up to think of me with someone else and that was what made him act irrationally. FFS I am not even with anyone else, he had invented the whole scenario and then given me grief over it.

minimammoth · 31/10/2010 18:00

Honestly Freak. What b*** universe are they in? Sounds like your ex needs professional help. Living in the real world and not a fantasy one might help.
GRRR I am just in the mood for a rant
thanks for support btw

FreakoidOrgansandBloodoid · 31/10/2010 18:10

Mini I know, his texts didn't even make sense, stupid man! I am getting more and more convinced he had mental health issues, his behaviour just isn't normal.

minimammoth · 31/10/2010 18:19

The good thing is he is out of your life, well almost. Where children are concerned even grown up ones, we should make an effort for harmony in my book and put our own selfish needs on the back burner for a while. Tell me to shut up if I've gone on long enough. Perhpas I'm turning into a witch [hgrin]

vastingavay · 31/10/2010 19:44

[hgrin] Mini, I can hear you cackling!

Angry at silly/loony exes though.

Have a good time Ali.

I'm looking forward to getting back into the playgroup etc. routine this week. DS is missing it.

anonymousbrainsnatcher · 01/11/2010 08:08

Plum - cake is astounding, you are very very clever! I love the dress, why do i never find things like that when I am looking?!?! Lovely.

Then again, everyone seems happy chilling at home & I can always do town stuff on my own when DC back at pre-sch/sch. So indecisive!!

Hi Comtessa... you could still have some waiting to do yet!!

I was convinced mine was going to arrive on the first of his birth month, even though not due until 7th. Don't ask me why, but I had the first of the month as a mental barrier, and anything after that I was getting seriously impatient about.... He arrived on 13th!! Oh and the phone calls from my mother in particular "any news" "any news". Every couple of hours. I stopped answering phone/mobile etc. She kept calling until DH told her (in calmer tones than i would have managed) that she would get the news when there was in fact some news. AND TO STOP BLOODY PHONING!!!!!!!!!!

We didn't tell anyone when I was in labour, went to the hospital and THEN told them "the news"!

Just enjoy it, whatever you want to do, the manicures etc... oh yes, make the most!
