JKS - yes, it is only about 3 degrees here atm and we are due for hard frosts every night this week with snow coming on Saturday and the temperature climbing to a mighty 1 at it's highest over the weekend

We're down south too but someone said they'd heard a prediction of 6inches even for us which sounds mad.

It was my day off so went to town with DD and my friend and her 3m old. Managed to buy myself (and DD) some clothes . Have come home to total house carnage so will have to make a list to get on top of things.

Hope no snow/ice as childminder up ginormous hill which is likely to be impassable .

I'm getting there. I've done something to mys shoulder which doesn't help.

HMHB, I'm dreading the snow this year. I had my big-ass Emmaljunga pushchair with proper tyres last year, so I could get through the snow, no chance with my buggy. I'm going to spend the time changing soggy socks when the wellies fall off.

Rant alert
Had relatively crap day.
Plan was: go to London for meeting in afternoon, get their early do a bit of xmasi shopping.
Reality: alarm not set properly so got up late and missed early train. Went to next station to get next train at 8.58am. Train came, train went. It was the bloody London train and nobody said,[anggry] so had to wait another sodding hour for next train. x3. Got to London in time for meeting - boring. then back home. Knackered.
Am off to write a stiff letter to someone......

It'll probably be nothing by the weekend anyway, lots of hype and very cold and that's it - DS1 will be very disappointed, lol!

Found out why boiler has been coming on far too early in the morning (heating on at 4.30am) and why there was no hot water for boys bath tonight (DS2 so upset, can't explain run out of hot water to him and he loves his bath!) - the boiler repair man set the clock (which i had of course checked was telling the right time) to the wrong part of the day, AM instead of PM. Have sorted it now so hopefully no noisy boiler at 4.30 - maybe DS2 may even sleep a little longer?

I want to make a list for tomorrow as I am really disorganised at the minute and really want to get a lot done.
My house is such a tip that I was thinking, if we ended up being snowed in, I would hate having to stay here in its current state.

Well maybe the boiler was waking him, but then he fell out of bed (first time) at 3.30 so i found him standing on toys looking out the window
he went back to sleep no probs, i took ages and kept waking at any tiny noise thinking it was him again.
Then both boys up at 7 - should have been a brilliant night's sleep!!
Hope tonight is better.

Kept feeling the baby in the middle of the night too so that brought a smile :)

Oh and I have fallen at first hurdle with wc...he came to do my windows on monday and nearly passed out (he has had flu) so came in and had a cup of tea and then fell asleep here for 2 hours. And then he came over for a bit last night. I should have said no when he asked if I wanted him to but jumped at the chance of some company. It was all fine, just watched a bit of telly together, but when he left I felt really sad again. Ah well, lesson learnt, is easier not to see him at all...

JKS, while I am being pushy , your dentist to do... I have seen it on your list since I started lurking because it was on mine. I did it last week, looked up on NHS for dentists taking on NHS patients in my area, rang down the list. First said no more space, second one took us all. It took me less than 10 minutes in total including making appointments!!!!!!

Anyway, my day so far...
