New thread ladies Grin

Just going to put DS to bed and then I'll be back with my list.

OP posts:
Alibabaandthe40nappies · 12/11/2010 13:37

I am 33. DH is older than me though, he's 40 so in our house it's him that is a young as the woman he's feeling Grin

DS is asleep! Announced in the middle of lunch that he wanted to go to bed, which he sometimes does as a tactic to get out of sitting to the table and eating him meal. So I put him in bed, and 20 mins later there is no sound.... I think no napping for 2 days must have got him really tired.
So I am having a cup of tea and a mince pie :) I may abandon the rest of my list on the basis that I am knackered and CBA. The house is tidy and mostly clean, we have food, everything else can wait.

Plum re car. I am the guilty party. I scraped the next car trying to reverse into parking spot. So embarrassed at incompetence and also knowing that it is a right pain getting stuff like that sorted. The people were very sweet and forgiving, but would you believe they had only just got their car back that morning from having a new back wing and respray.Shock
My car has barely a scuff.Blush

Its probably down to my age....true confession coming up. I am 61. but 30 in my head(not my body sadly)My DH is younger too.

Heart to heart with wc earlier. Still too many feelings/too much lust between us. We are going to distance ourselves for a while Sad I feel really really sad.

It's the right thing but it's shit.

HicUps · 12/11/2010 19:10

Hi all.
Whilst on the age thing. I'm 34, and I don't really know how old I feel! Mostly old.

Glumness.. turned to weepyness... turned to cheeryness.... yup, must be the pg hormones!

Was so windy last night that I couldn't sleep. New house (not new, but new to me) sounded like the roof was blowing away. Turns out that clemetis which was growing up the outside wall was completely wrenched off. Poor thing. DH did some emergency tree surgery!

Have lovely weekends everyone.
