Love the up-do Plum! Total 1940s screen siren! Thinking Sienna Miller in The Edge of Love. Great to hear that your bedroom decorating is all coming together. FIL and I are painting the alcoves of the living room today. The whole house is currently magnolia and DH and I are being rather brave in the living room and going for a warm mauve colour to match a huge print of Monet's waterlilies.

Mini sorry to hear about your car. It's such a pain when these things happen.

Congratulations on your impending anniversary Ali!

Hello MaMo :)

Wasting - I like mirrors too. We have a lovely one over the fireplace in the living room and I want a long landscape shaped one to go along one wall of the dining room but all the ones I have seen that I like are £££. One day :)

Forgot one thing for my list

Activate new bank card - URGENT

comtessa · 12/11/2010 09:48

Ali must put my glasses on before reading messages next time, just realised it's Anon's anniversary on Sunday, not yours. Whoops!

Yep, am making the most of my last weeks/days/hours of freedom before LO arrives. Thought I had some mild contractions last night, but managed to get to sleep and no baby this morning so clearly not! Have gained four stone and my knees are really finding the weight hard work so that's another reason to want her to make an appearance sooner rather than later. 38 weeks this Sunday...

comtessa · 12/11/2010 09:49

(Waves to MaMo)

cikecaka · 12/11/2010 09:55

Morning Smile

I like Mirrors too, but unfortunately they do not like me very much Grin

Plum you look fabulous Envy

I need to find an outfit for the christmas parties, i am a stone and a half overweight, have H cup boobs, but have the face of a 15yr old, so really struggle to find something that fits, suits my bodyshape but looks young enough iyswim? It would be easier to lose the weight than find something to suit!

We are going to CentreParcs on monday, we have all got this horrendous cold and i am stressing about us being able to get rid of the cold before then so we can go swimming Confused

My house is a right mess too, there is not one room that is tidy.

Going to do jobs in little spurts between swigs of Lemsip (or i would if we hadn't run out!)

TO DO
Brush my hair (still wrapped in a towel)
Get DD dressed
Brush DD's hair
Have cough sweet

FreakoidOrganisoid · 12/11/2010 11:40

Plum you are beyootiful Smile Am Envy of the hair as well, can never do up-do's.

I am 29, big 30 coming up in April. Feel younger since I split with H, think that's the weight off my shoulders.

Very tired today thanks to wind last night (I mean the weather not that I had flatulence!). Think will mainly just potter and do basics

anonymousbird · 12/11/2010 12:00

Oh you lot, you are all so YOUNG!!!!!!

I am 41... but have a toy boy DH, so you are as young as the man you feel... so they say! That'll do for me!

Yes, 12th anniversary, god, haven't even thought about a nice meal or anything. Dh was such a baby when we got married!!! Sigh. I think with everything going on at the moment, we will simply have a bottle of fizz on Sunday and curl up in front of the fire ....

It's nearly noon, I haven't even cleared up the breakfast. Major Slattern of the Week award for me... Blush. Been a hell of a morning though, all very productive in other areas, so not time wasted. Just hope no one "pops by" in the next half hour whilst I have sort out...
