Hi, Goingroundthebend - we are kind of hoping that DS2 will get the mobility bit when he turns 3, then we sort out a motability car. Kind of worried that he may drop down on the care amount though as he is much better now than he was last year when we applied. confused!

Mon:

• upload & order online prints (DH getting rid of that PC so i need to a) research 'time machines', b) get one, c) move all photos from his PC onto it, d) link up my laptop with it so all photos from here go on it; DH looking into it
• order door curtain (& rail) for front door; need to email seller about sizes (got measurements)
• clean kitchen cupboard doors
• research backing up hardware for computers Decided on Time Capsule; decide size, find good price & order
• make up basket of toys & pictures for DS2; need basket Got Basket
• pictures to label 'animals' & 'people' & 'cars' boxes
• cheap picture frame for kids alphabet picture; (50 x 70) (poss Ikea trip?/Wilkinsons?)
• pile of blankets to homeless centre (some basic shopping first & go through bedding/towels too; Started)
• tackle the bombsite that is the spare room...Done some, sorted reusable nappies & baby blankets onto shelves
• re vests; get some FC ones with pictures, lol
• watch missed episodes of my programmes on 5 on demand Watched one, one left
• DS2's new DLA forms; ask on MN, get HV to help, questions for friend with NT 3yr old, etc.

Don't know about where you all are, but it is pouring here. Bleugh. Thank god Dog still on holiday and not down to me to walk her!

I need to entertain the DC for at least an hour this evening - builder arriving 5.15 for proper discussion re the works, DH not home until 6 at the very earliest (and probably later) and I need DC to kind of look after themselves as I need to concentrate... Forgot to record anything over the weekend! Agghhh. Our DVD player works, but has no remote control so all I can do is set them off with a movie and hope that it doesn't need pausing etc at any point!

I often find myself stuck in a cooking rut, at the moment I am trying to empty the freezer so all meals feel a bit meh (I don't like eating frozen stuff for some reason)

Hooray for bed comtessa, don't know how you've been doing it-slept on a futon when I was 7 or 8 months with dd and couldn't get up!

Ali/anon we had that weather all last night, kept me awake and my recycling box and the dc's toys were flying around the garden.

As for Saturday night, nothing awful happened but it was just a really weird night. Friend one was in a foul mood and was impossible to talk to. Friend 2 was talking to some old friends from school and pretended she'd booked us a taxi then later admitted she hadn't so we ended up in the local dive all night rather than going into town. I was backed into a corner by one of her friend's friends who was being really lechy and then telling racist jokes . If I'd realised we weren't going anywhere I'd have gone home because I wasn't enjoying myself and I drank too much to try and make the night more enjoyable. Then friend 2 came back to mine to get a taxi home and they all somehow ended up coming with us and drinking at my house. Beer got spilt on the carpet, there was dodgy aiming at the toilet, lechy bloke started insulting me because I wasn't responding to his advances and it was just all very very strange.

Freaki - indeed, can see why the hangover was NOT worth it.

Ebay friends - after next week, I will have a very good fairly new (less than 5 years old) integrated DW and WM that I cannot reuse in new kitchen.

WM is AEG, DW is Miele - both work perfectly. I've never ebayed an appliance before - do these good makes get good money, anyone got any experience???? Seems an utter shame to tip them, as they are fantastic items.

Obviously out of guarantee etc, but have all instructions and undamaged... whaddayareckon?!?!? TIA. Nothing to lose by trying I suppose, and anything I get for them is better than a kick in the teeth!

I have hibernated this afternoon and done NOTHING! DS is still asleep, really must wake him up in a bit but he is worn out still from all the excitement of holiday and then grandparents and fireworks over the weekend :)

We made salt dough earlier, but I had no Christmas cutters when I looked, so those are arriving from Amazon tomorrow and we will proceed with the making. DS grabbed the tea strainer and threw tea leaves into the mix before I could stop him, so they will have brown speckles in them I have eaten 6 of the jam tarts we made already

JKS - I am terrible with the heating, cannot bear being cold. I would leave it on even if I was sat in bed I think!

I'm Mini's daughter (forgive lack of abbrev. can't work them all out yet!) and HalfMumHalfBiscuit's sister. They've been going on and on about you lovely people so I thought I'd see what's going on.

I'm just 14 weeks pg.. and you know, I think I felt movement today... funny fluttery feeling. Is that right? Or too early?

I'm not quite into the list-making phase yet, but just moved house and believe you me I'm never doing that again!. Lists-a-plenty!

Seeing a past thread...I used to live in Colchester and Cambridge (not at the same time...), and have moved up north. All I can say, is that its cold! and Windy! and Wet!
