Afternoon all

Alice I second (third? fourth?) everyone else, don't overdo it! I know you want to stay on top of things but things like crumble aren't essentials (although very tasty). Just don't want to see you crash...

Hope it is temporary unsettledness anyway.

Mini thanks (as always) for advice. Problem is I have no idea! Lost myself during bad marriage and although I am back in many ways I have no idea what I want to do or even what I enjoy Hmm. Perhaps going by h's logic I should work for ikea!

Have got quite a bit done today and have been a bit of a better mummy in terms of playing too.

Scan all good Grin Baby has grown the requisite amount in the last 3 weeks, although she couldn't get a nuchal measurement because the gap was too small - I was on the first day of the window to do the test. It is nothing to worry about, in fact she said it's a good thing as it's highly unlikely that there is any thickening if it is too small to even measure atm.
Baby was asleep I think, just one foot waving and the heartbeat pumping away.
So we are back again next Friday! :)
Also, they weighed me and I have LOST weight - ha!

JKS - hope everyone enjoys the lamb shanks. If they are vile now I shall feel terrible!

Freak - :( about You Know Who, you will feel better about it all soon ((((hugs))))

Anon - I love my iPhone. Don't have my diary on there though, pen and paper all the way for me.

DONE
All up, showered and dressed
Wash new top that has strange chemical smell
Breakfast
Reading with DS
Quick tidy round and take ironing pile upstairs

Tidy up and clean kitchen

Back here to drop DS with friend
Scan at 2.20pm with DH
Cup of tea

TO DO
Me feet up (in progress)

FreakoidOrganisoid · 09/09/2010 16:32

Good news ali Grin

I'm being pathetic, only saw him on mon. Am used to talking/texting most days now though and it's the stopping myself that's hard. Thought I'd have grown out of this teenagery type angst by now!

I want lamb shanks!

minimammoth · 09/09/2010 16:45

Grin

The PC is a goner, so we need to delete everything and then smash up the hard-drives to make sure it's all gone for good.
All the national secrets we've got there y'know.

Good news Ali, how many weeks are you?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 09/09/2010 18:16

Ah I see - sounds like fun Grin

I'll be 12 weeks on Saturday, suddenly it's going quite quickly - eek!

wastingaway · 09/09/2010 20:41

Wow, it is going quick!

I think the PC has had a reprieve for another day, DH won't be back til gone 10.

Alicetheinvisible · 09/09/2010 21:00

Evening Smile

Ali great news about the scan (and the extra one!)

Stropicana glad it is you Smile

wasting could you not have left it for a bad day? Smashing something up on a bad day would certainly turn it around for me Grin

Made the crumble (was very yummy) with help from my friend, then we (DD, my friend and i) made some fairy cakes with chopped plums in that were also very good.

F is gulping his feeds down and i think taking in air so it is giving him a tummy ache. Going to pop in to the BF group tomorrow to ask for some advice. Going for a quiet day tomorrow with lots a telly and cuddles Grin

wastingaway · 09/09/2010 21:38

Good plan Alice. Grin

Remember you can thump them quite hard when getting their wind up. I remember being all Shock at how hard the night nurses whacked DS on the back when in the hospital.

JustKeepSwimming · 10/09/2010 08:15

Ali - you can relax, everyone enjoyed the lamb shanks Grin so thank you :)
(Dh was actually a tad impressed, even though it was ready-made food, just shows my normal level of cooking Blush)
