LOL HMHB

Ali that would be great if it did suck it back in, don't think so though.

Good luck for scan, fingers crossed all is well.

DS is 2.8 and he really liked the museum but got v tired (I didn't take buggy), we didn't do the whole thing because he had had enough and dd was sulking because she'd got it into her head that the dinosaurs were going to do a show so was disappointed that they were just there to look at! Oh and also because I wouldn't let her buy a £10 toy penguin from the shop (I did feel bad for that as had been intending to let them buy a souvenir but after the cash incident I couldn't afford to, especially as I'd left the sandwiches in the fridge at home so had to buy lunch!).

My courgettes finished about 2 weeks ago, had loads off there though, no tomatoes this year or last. mange tout did very well in june/july.

Ipom · 20/08/2010 01:27

Congratulations Alice!

minimammoth · 20/08/2010 08:56

What a day Freaki. Cash point incedent would have had me hot flushing. A friend once tried to follow someone who had left her money and just couldn't find her, went back to the machine and waited an hour, then had the moral dillema of what to do, give it back to the bank or keep it.....

Ok. today I am back on the moth trail, have seen some everynight this week, flapping their treacherous wings in derision PAH! So I am having the sofa out and upside down and in with the lakeland spray. That'll show 'em.

OP posts:
minimammoth · 20/08/2010 09:32

The sofa is innocent, it is not party to the moth conspiricy. Can't be bothered to interrogate the bookcase again though. Although it looks clean on the outside, I suspect they are at it again round the back.

Yay everything is fine Grin We have a heartbeat, in the right place so no ectopic or anything.

God I am so relieved and I feel like I need to sleep for a week.

Back later with some form of list.

Frederick was born yesterday at 9.08am by elcs, weighing 9lb2oz(!!!) All is good, now home. The surgeon said he looked like he was too big to actually engage, hence not going into labour. He is a fab baby so far xx

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 20/08/2010 13:19

Aww Alice that is lovely news, congratulations! xxxxx

Thanks Freaky, my face is like this Grin

FreakoidOrganisoid · 20/08/2010 13:26

Thanks for coming on Alice, Shock at size! You are only little as well!

Ipom · 20/08/2010 14:13

Glad to hear everything is fine with you Alice and with you Ali.

I was going to take the kids blackberry picking but realised they go back to school soon so have had to do shopping instead.

Spent an eye watering amount (to the point a single tear ran down my face as I punched in my pin) and the checkout woman laughed at me.

But, the kids are set, the cupboards and fridge are full so it's not too bad..

minimammoth · 20/08/2010 14:58

great news Ali, a tiny heart beat, Wow!
Alice a big bouncing boy - well done, glad you are safely through it.

Have actually tackled the magazine rack of DOOM, and found remote for radio/cd player Yay. its only been missing ooo lets see a year or so,Blush I thought I'd inadvertantly recycled it!
Now feeling virtuous and a teeny bit smug.

Hello? curious who are you and what on earth needed deleting?? Confused

Not much list from me today. We are going to see SIL later to give DN her birthday present, and we need to do about 5 loads of laundry.

Hope everyone has a good day :)

minimammoth · 21/08/2010 16:01

Hello Ali. Curious. Your post seemed fine to me. Ah well.
Am having a quiet weekend this weekend, hpefully. Just trying to clear the washing and get it dry!(no tumbler). Possible ironing event, -steady on there.

Ipom · 21/08/2010 16:27

Hiya Girls,

Was going to do the housework but got distracted.

Maybe I'll have another go tomorrow.

minimammoth · 21/08/2010 18:33

Hello Ipom. thread's quiet isn't it. did a miniscule amount of weeding today. Ironing board still learing at me from the corner of the room.Maybe it'll go away if I ignore itGrin

OP posts:
Ipom · 21/08/2010 21:23

It is quiet, maybe everyone is actually DOING housework instead of just writing about it?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 21/08/2010 21:39

Hello ladies :)

I cannot get myself excited about lists atm, no idea what's wrong with me. I must do one tomorrow as we've got friends coming for Sunday lunch and then my parents coming on Monday to stay over so the spare room needs sorting and I must do some cleaning.

Just13moreyearstogo · 22/08/2010 07:37

Hello - I'm in the lucky position that DH has taken the kids to his parents to allow me time alone to tackle all those jobs I never get round to. I did nothing yesterday apart from relax and go to the cinema! This morning my motivation is also lacking so I really need something to give me a kick or they'll all come back and the house will be in exactly the same state!! So, to start with:
1)dishwasher
2)kitchen surfaces
3)breakfast

Just13moreyearstogo · 22/08/2010 08:50

Ha! The best laid plans...family member ill - I have to go and visit. That's today done for. Be back tomorrow evening.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 22/08/2010 09:59

Please will everyone stop namechanging, I have no idea who you are!! Grin

JKS is that you? I thought you were on holiday? Very Confused

DONE
All up and breakfasted

TO DO
Tidy downstairs
Hoover downstairs
Mop kitchen floor
Dust downstairs
3 loads of washing
Downstairs loo
Wipe over bathroom
Stairs and bannisters
Prep veg for lunch and take dessert out of the freezer
Have lunch with friends and chill out

There will be another list for later but that will do for now.
