Luckily, er problem seems to be solved. DH is putting the crib up atm and i am freaking. There is NO WAY i can have a baby tomorrow! No a chance. Stupidly early to be getting it's bed ready. (denial? Nooooo)

JKS have you tried Vinegar yet? You might have to spray it on then cover with kitchen roll and cling film, but that would be what i would try.

Wasting, the wee chap was eaten by DH and declared lovely and sweet. None of his mates are showing any signs of leaving mummy apart from a tiny pear shaped yellow tom, who is very yellow, so must be ripening.
Bronze its always the way, more dark before the dawn, trying to be cheery here.

Lawn done have started edging which hasn't been done for years, what do you do with the grassy bits though, will they be ok in compost?

Bits of grass are ok in compost as long as it's not too much, i think.

JKS - yum to PE, it is our favourite if DS is coming too

We have had a lovely weekend with our friends, eaten too much and generally sat about chatting. Talked to them a bit about the miscarriage, they are still reeling from it and as much as they love DS I think being with us was hard for them :( Very glad we decided not to say anything about me being pregnant either before they came or while they were here.
We're going up to see them beginning of October, so I will ring them once I've had my scan and tell them about the baby. Ho hum.

DS is still poorly - cough, gunky eyes still, streaming nose and a temperature so I'm definitely taking him to the GP tomorrow.

DH starts his new job tomorrow - eek!

grass is fine as long as you have brown and green in the compost it tends to work
brown = paper etc

I went to my sisters at the weekend and have got in-laws here at the moment (even though I have escaped to work).

I am now seriously trying to avoid doing the mothproofing. Am off up to S. Yorks wednesday, should I do it before I go or wait? head says yes, body says no cba.

Evening

I am so tired! One night of partying and I'm feeling it for days

Wedding was fantastic. Although nearly disastrous for me- friend and I had a bottle of cava in the- half hour whilst we were getting ready, then into the ceremony. Then onto the lawn for photos and mingling and the drinks just kept coming. And coming. And coming. I have never been to a wedding with so much free booze! By the time we were seated for the meal I was almost on the floor, was dropping everything I touched, slurring and generally close to making a complete idiot of myself Luckily I was still with it enough to realise this and so abstained from wine during the meal, wolfed down my food and made a speedy recovery By the end of the night I was even one of the more sober ones there.

Alice get that baby OUT! Or are you still quite happy to keep him in for a bit?

Wasting hope the hangover is gone by tomorrow. Oh and happy birthday for yesterday
