Well I haven't spoke to my mother from the shopping incident, she did text back, and text on Tuesday but apart from that nada (JKS had to use it)

My second cake is baking and I'm going to make a quick late lunch then work on laundry while cakes cool

Right I have been crap today. I think DS has got an upset tummy, there have been several epic poo nappies today, not fun with a queasy stomach!

Must get sorted out though, DH isn't home until late because he's picking up his car so I will have to do the cooking

Oh, Martha, it does feel good. My new short list of simply TO DO essentials to get the family on holiday are:

• Take DC out for tea (now)
• Fold last of drying laundry
• Finalise Tesco Order this evening
• Pack my things, get DH to pack tonight, not in the morning (easier said that done). Kids are packed.
• Gardening tonight - one hour, whilst DH mows the lawn
• Have supper, load DW and run

Tomorrow morning:

• Empty DW
• Breakfast, shower and dress
• Empty Fridges, pack what's left plus the veg picked today
• Clean Loos
• Mop Floors (finally relegated to"just before we go")
• Leave at 10am.

Hmm, having re-read my list, I have realised this evening (ie. 7 til 10) is rather overloaded... There are about 6 hours worth of work to do in 2.5...

Aaaarggh my foot has gone to sleep!

Got the dc room sorted yesterday, haven't put everything back in because I'm only going to have to take it all out again when the bed/desk arrive.

DC chose a couple of toys to keep at daddys house then today he rang and was whinging about his house being too small and not being able to fit stuff in blah blah blah. AS I said before 1 person in 2 bed house vs 3 people in 2 bed house Oh and lets not forget that a couple ofmonths ago I "wiped him out" and took everything leaving him with no stuff so not sure why suddenly he has too much to fit in the house Anyway they are still taking it, he will have to find room (maybe under beds or in wardrobe?)

I have spied a holiday but can't book until next week and am panicing incase it won't be there then[eek]

dh says we are going if we pack the car and drive over to England, that made me panic as I have loads of Tesco vouchers but I wouldn't have time to cash them in for theme parks etc and I wouldn't feel organised enough

Cakes are cooled and in sealed container until after dinner when I shall ice

I'm defrosting chicken for some sort of Plumbum chicken special which will include peppers, onions, mushrooms either creamy/tomatoe sauce

JKS mostly just being an idiot. He has never had to think about where things will go iyswim. One of the things he was complaining about was that he doesn't have a conservatory so where will he keep the pegs . Laughable really. Also he knows moaning about not having enough space for the dc stuff will make me worry about leaving them and he is probably hoping I will be too worried to enjoy the wedding.

Feeling fed up today, Have had an itchy tight skin thing around my eyes. Looked through the morror this am. and look a hundred. Took an extra dose of anti hystamine as I think it may be allergy related ( too much talking to the tomato). But now feel weary.

Done bugger all today really, made some cakes this morning, went to a picnic in the park, packaged up dvd's (been on list all week) and that is that. Still waiting for DH to finish work. Have paid someone to do horses today so that we can spend that time moving furniture etc around (after the work being done)

Its Big Chill weekend here, so cannot get parked in town, everywhere heaving. Moan moan moan.
one moth and one cocoon found downstairs, upstairs have kept window shut, which has helped.
