Well, I'm back again, to parents house for Sunday lunch, and for a quick perusal of net! Parents and Dsis and ds1 have gone to Pride and Prejudice (that well known Irish drama , which is playing locally
Ds1 and dd can now ride, but I had a slightly exhausting week getting up early to get them ready for Pony Club which was about 3/4 hour a way, although DSis did most of the ferrying to and fro.

Loads of solo flying going on, and too many late nights, so I am a bit worn out and hoping this week will be a bit more relaxed.
I think we need to get into our holiday rhythm still - I just want children to be so bored that they wander around the lake shore making camps out of branches...guess what this morning dd composed a rap tune on the electric keyboard for my birthday, ds2 made a satellite dish out of twigs and ds1 was reading the Beano, and hoping to get a listen of his cousin's ipod...

OFM We are near Mullingar, in Westmeath, by Lake Derravaragh. It's very peaceful and And I need to get hold of a boat from somewhere. I have loads of plans for the holidays, it is just having strength to put them into ACTION.

Oh father approaching..

sorry not to reply individually
anyway, back again in a few days - my dad has just asked me why I am looking at something with an Ovulation Calculator on it havign never encountered Mumsnet before, so as I suspected it is impossible to use the internet unimpeded.

LOL at your dad Swan

Been to the car boot sale this morning, spent £10 and bought SO many toys etc - lots to take to France and leave there/not worry if lost or broken. Big bargains were a big Mickey Mouse and a little Mickey and Minnie soft toys, from Disney store for £2 all with tags! DS and DD thrilled and it will save me a small fortune in DLParis!!!

BB tomorrow

I finished the baby quilt yesterday for my sister, it looks fab but its edges are not straight . Might let dd have that one as she is rather taken with it and try and get another one sewn that is straight.
