Is this too whimsical for an adult bedroom?

It would be going in a small alcove that has sage green shiplap panelling so it would just be the top half. The bed head and side tables sit in the alcove.

I love the colours and the fact that I can tie in yellows, greens, blues and pinks with it.

The disney is putting me off but I think it's subtle? Like upmarket disney hotel?

I've got a sample and it's lovely in real life.

My curtains are covered in Quentin Blake's cockatoos and I love them. So I think you should buy whatever wallpaper you want, as long as it's only yourself you're trying to please.

Personally I'm not a massive Disney fan so wouldn't, but I love Quentin Blake's illustrations so was quite happy with that level of whimsy on my wall.

For an adult room, whimsical is fine but not so much cartoon animals or Disney.... The flowers and butterflies are fine though. And I do love Sanderson wallpaper designs on the whole!

I'd say don't use this, because the Disney is putting you off now, and I think would bug at you more over time. I'd use google lens to search for similar patterns and colours in a plain floral paper.

I love it! But then my bedding sets are a choice between Winnie The Pooh, Beauty and the Beast or Harry Potter.

Personally it's not for me but it's your bedroom so go for what you want.

It sounds as though it's a relatively small area so if you get fed up with it you can easily replace it

It is my bedroom, I do have a DP but he sleeps elsewhere.

I live in a small terraced railway workers cottage, my house decor is quite traditional and cosy cottage.

It would be in a space that is 2m by 1.5m approx above my bed.

I do love it and I do love disney.

It's expensive if I decide I don't like it though.

I love the flowers but agree with others that the Bambi is a touch too twee for me. But then I don't have to live with it!

Your house your choice so if you love it go for it. If you want to look at similar minus the Disney characters look on Lucie Annabel. Some gorgeous floral papers. Samples are large so I’d put a couple of samples up in the space with your Disney one and see which you prefer.

I'm not usually into twee, although I'm definitely a maximalist who loves pattern and colour, but I actually really like it @EarlofShrewsbury! It reminds me of the vintage Babycham glasses my parents had. If you love it, go for it!

I normally like strong, abstract print but I think that paper would be perfect in the bedroom, even with Bambi!
