I’ve seen this table on FB marketplace. It’s over £1200 new but they’re selling for £300.

what’s your opinion on it? Would it be easy to maintain etc?

Looks cheap and tacky.

Well it looks ridiculous in a 3 bed semi doesnt it? As evidenced in front of your own very eyes in the picture in the thread.

So yes, its bought by people who want to pretend they're living in some sort of Italian 18c mansion, but in a Bexley end of terrace.

We knew some people who had similar taste and filled their enormous house set in 50+ acres with this kind of stuff - all brand new and resplendent in grey. They also purchased lots of flat pack furniture from Amazon that was equally hideous and unsuited to their potentially lovely home that they'd ruined by rebuilding as a WAG house during covid.

They were multi millionaires (he was a self made businessman in his 70s) who could afford the very best, but imo they had very little taste.

It's not for me (I like antique/vintage/eclectic furniture etc), however, if it's what you like @BonBonBoo then go for it!

You did ask whether it would be easy to maintain and the legs are going to show every mark and need lots of cleaning to keep them looking like that . I would also not like the hard sharp corners of the table top if there are children running around
