Is there such a thing as a not ugly desk chair?

I've been looking for ages and the castors and adjustable settings make them all look so 'officey'.

It's for occasional home use (wfh and maybe arts/ crafts) so does need to be comfy to sit in for a few hours at a time but not all day every day.

Bump because I’d love to find one of those too!

It's not pretty and not really intended as an office chair but this is the closest compromise I have found. Would like a different colour choice - something brighter or a pattern?

Thank you they're more colourful but still officey in style. I have been working on a bureau type desk so could get away with something like this beauty. It can be used as an extra guest chair too which is a bonus.

I bought a gaming chair from the Range. It's pink. Really supportive for my.back. you have to.assemble-it not difficult. Use it to work from.home

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm a bit limited colour wise as my desk is red - probably should have mentioned that sooner!

I think what I'm after is something that looks more like an armchair but is the right seat height for a desk. Doesn't have to be adjustable as it's mostly just me using it.

I think I measured 48- 49 cm as a good seat height.

I have this chair, I really love the design and it's more comfortable than it looks! I use it when I wfh and can comfortably sit in it for the day

We've got this from ikea and it looks quite nice in our home office.

I have this. Zero back support. I wouldn't like to sit in it all day.

Also the HM Sayl chair isn't too bad.

I saw this in Barker & Stonehouse y’day being used as an office chair. It looked much better in person.

I know this and if I was sitting in it for a full working day I would agree but it is just for occasional use.

I have this. It's very comfortable, although I do have to fight the cat for it. I didn't want one that was too office like and overly plastic looking.

I have a chair from the futon company which swivels, but isn't height adjustable and doesn't have wheels. It's good for a few hours but not a whole day. It's padded as I think they do one that is just wood too.
