An egg doesn’t really fit. May be a quail egg. 🤔

Difficult to say without dimensions, but I think you put your head in it to stop it hitting the table at dull dinner parties.

I think more 60's than 80's, so alternatively it could be a 'hippy-hippy-shake' thing.

It’s about 20cm high. The blue feet are rubber and the red spiral can turn left or right.

Possibly a florist support for the centre of a flower basket? Just a random guess though, no specialist inside knowledge.

A sink-tidy? Drape dishcloth over the yellow wire and place sponge on the red wire?

Could you use it to massage your head?

Maybe a balloon sizing gauge, to ensure that all children get the same size balloon at a party - to avoid ugly incidents.

Banana stand

A child’s lovingly made craft project that was cherished at home for years and has turned up in a house clearance.

I can’t fit a banana on it and as for the child's craft, it’s proper hard coated metal wire, I’d be very surprised if a child can make this!

Can you slide the sprial bit up? Like hold the feet of the yellow legs and slide the spiral foot up towards the end squeezing the yellow bits together as it gets near the top?
