Have chosen https://www.littlegreene.com/hopper?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAzc2tBhA6EiwArv-i6T5H2-uzAqhB2rN8i8pRJpZaTENvxGRY39NFEAbFbuezQGgZGkt6QhoCA2oQAvD_BwE

But I’m having a wobble and wondering about this instead

My inspiration is this which is obviously closer yo
the dark one

I prefer the first choice. I think the second is too close to avocado bathroom green. That colour is on my mind as I’ve just had a dark blue kitchen fitted, which I love but I think will be the avocado bathroom for selling houses of the future.

I prefer the first. Green is super fashionable for kitchens this year. As you're having painted units go for whatever colour appeals to you most. You'll be able to repaint in a few years if you get tired of it.

SwedishEdith · 26/01/2024 19:02

I painted an old sideboard in LG Olive. It's pretty dark, not bathroom avocado at all, I don't think.

ThelastRolo20 · 26/01/2024 19:06

I always go with my first instinct/ choice 😊 wobbles always happen but there's a reason you wanted it in the first place! Stick with it - it's a lovely colour

SnowsFalling · 26/01/2024 19:22

The first one!

OvxvO · 26/01/2024 19:36

Both are lovely

letmeeatinpeace · 26/01/2024 19:36

They are both great! Hopper looks more fun. Olive looks more 'sophisticated'. Olive is very dark - it will show dirt/dust way more (if you don't mind cleaning a lot then no problem). I'd go for Hopper, personally

Seaside3 · 26/01/2024 19:39

Cn you combine them? Olive on the bottom and hopper up top? Or 1 on an island and the other for the other units? Might work if you're wanting some subtle differences. They're bithe lovely.

WittynotPretty · 26/01/2024 19:40

The long dresser is by Plain English and it’s painted in their Dripping Tap. Your first colour is much closer to it.

Isittoolatetosayhappynewyear · 26/01/2024 21:44

Both lovely but I think the first!

shillyme · 26/01/2024 21:49

I like the hopper (dark green) everyone has that olive colour!

ZenNudist · 26/01/2024 22:07

I prefer the olive. I love green but that Hopper is very green. PP is right though that you can repaint in a few years.

Popquizzer · 26/01/2024 22:39

Definitely Hopper. The olive is drab.

This is the sort of knowledge I need! Thank you!

Thanks everyone. I shall have a ponder over the weekend. It is very green 🧑🏻‍🎤

I think hopper is too strong, I’d get fed up with it personally, and the olive will be easier to find pretty teatowels etc that look nice with it.

CormorantStrikesBack · 27/01/2024 00:01

The first one.

Cantthinkofafruit · 27/01/2024 00:31

I'd go Hopper.

Our kitchen is Little Greene Brunswick green (mid? I think) but we also considered Hopper

MouseMinge · 27/01/2024 00:39

I love both colours but I'd probably go for the first because I think it will suit being a dominant colour than the second. If you're still wobbling, I agree with others that you can incorporate the second somewhere.

I think that whichever way you go you are going to end up with a very beautiful kitchen. They're both so rich and inviting.

floppybit · 27/01/2024 01:04

I know this is not very helpful but I love them both!

rhubarbby · 27/01/2024 03:10

a bold choice, the first one for sure.

Luckycloverz · 27/01/2024 05:01

Please buy samples!
Expensive mistake experience 🤣

FloofCloud · 27/01/2024 06:06

The first one

Quinque · 27/01/2024 06:44

Definitely Hopper, olive can be drab unless it's brightly lit.
And it's probably easier to accessorise with similar shades or a contrasting colour if that's something you want to do.

piscofrisco · 27/01/2024 07:40

I've got that green in my utility room and black in my kitchen. I wish I'd had it the other way around, I love the Green and Im meh about the black. So the first one!
