Suggestions for different wallpaper for a small downstairs loo

I would like to wall paper our downstairs loo to liven it up a bit and would like something a bit different. The only issue is that it doesn't have a window only a spot light and is very small so worried large bold paper would be a bit oppressive. Does anyone have any downstairs loo wallpaper inspiration to suggest / share?

A friend of mine covered her downstairs toilet walls (the upper half, at least.....she t&g the bottom) in astroturf.

it sounds awful but looks fabulous.

I’m putting a where’s Wally mural paper in mine. Figured I could go a bit crazy as it’s only an under stairs loo!

Edit to add, I think the beauty of these small spaces is that they can feel a bit like a cosy bolt-hole which can be added to with the decor instead of trying to make them light and spacious when they’ll never have that feeling anyway.

there area some lovely bold papers around that you would perhaps normally shrink away from plus the cost is prohibitive. the idea of half tongue and groove in a matching colour looks fantastic

I've wanted it in my downstairs loo ever since but too expensive and the loo gets a bit damp so would not last 😩
