Neither are the kind of thing I'd have in my house, I think they are quite twee. Shelf unit might suit some interiors but agree, check the size. It's only £16 and 3kg so probably tiny. The drawers look cheap, agree with PP that you should look on a vintage site or go to a local auction house to get something better made that will go better with the shelves.

The sideboard through just looks a bit odd. Lovely colour, lovely wooden top...but the slatted draws just ruin it imo, I'd look for similar but with solid cupboard or draw fronts.

I think surroundings can make something look amazing or stick out like a sore thumb. Arranged in the right setting they'd both look great

Personally I would echo what everyone else has said. Sideboard absolutely not. Shelves possibly if it's a cottagey type of house.

The sideboard isn't bad. I hate the shelf.

Sideboard is ok. The shelf is hideous.

Have a look on maisonsdumondemonde site. Some lovely sideboards on there. Got one from them.
