The shelf definitely goes with the coffee table. Maybe look for a stripped slightly more battered sideboard?

I like the shelves but at £167 i think they are a bit expensive! The sideboard is OK neither great nor awful! My opinions only!

I like the shelves rather a lot.

On a practical note, not keen on the sideboard because you'll find that dust will make its way inside and settle neatly in a thick layer on your carefully stored possessions. Either that, or you will be able to see all the clutter inside through the slats. It's not really a sideboard either I don't think, as it has drawers rather than doors and shelves.

Is the shelf really tiny? Better check measurements before buying. It seems too cheap for a decent size shelf unit
