New kitchen - where do tea towels go?!

Just what the title says really 😂

I have a beautiful new kitchen that is almost finished and it occurred to me today that I don't want my tea towels hanging on the front of the oven door...but have no idea where else to put them!

Hit me with your genius ideas, please!

On the oven door.

At the end of one run of floor cupboards we have those circular things that you push the tea towel into (but here it's quite hidden from view).

Ditto hating them on the oven door!

I bought these for mine - mine are on the outside but you could put them hanging inside instead maybe

But I like mine on oven door (range cooker so lower level). Makes the kitchen less clinical looking.

I was thinking about putting a bar on the end of a run of units but it will be the first thing you see when you walk in the room. Rather spoiling the look.

I did have hooks on the inside of the door under the sink but no one (including me ☺️) could be bothered to use them.

I have a suction hook on the wine fridge door.

I actually don’t have tea towels, so that rather solves that problem. We have silicone oven mits and then use the downstairs loo for hand washing. Appreciate that’s rather a “middle class MNer assuming everyone has access to a downstairs loo” opinion but that works for us

Large metal cuphook screwed into the butchers block - sideways into the top of the leg so it won't catch you as you pass

Hmm - I might try inside one of the cupboards; great idea!

If that doesn't work maybe buying some new tea towels that match my beautiful kitchen will be the way to go!

Hooks on the side of an end cupboard, the boiler in our case.

Neat and lovely on the microwave.

On the cupboard under the sink in the kitchen & utility. Not very original but easy and to hand. Colours reasonably similar.

We have a bar handle on the dishwasher and it hangs on that.

On a towel rail over the radiator.

I keep them in a drawer , remove to dry glasses and throw straight into the washing machine after use . I never use them for anything else and don’t want them on show .

Hook which is command stripped to the inside of the corner cupboard with the carousel.

Nowt on display but near the oven.

On the dishwasher handle next to the sink. Drives me nuts. Making sure there is a place for them in new kitchen planning process!

Absolutely they must match. They are part of the decor.

I also have a handy downstairs cloak (still use kitchen or butlers to wash hands while cooking though). How do you dry hand washed items that don't go in the dishwasher?
