trying to find a picture of a chair for an upholsterer

Asking for help - I am a bit down atm and struggling to work this out

It was my great aunty Edith's

& I have always loved it and now inherited it

It is small, with arms, it hasn't got legs the upholstery goes down to the floor, on casters

The back is slightly curved and has deep vertical creases/seams like a fan or shell but is much more angular than the 'shell' chairs I can google

& when I have found a picture of it I need fabulous fabric to recover it
Maybe velvet? Maybe Purple/violet or teal/turquoise or possibly a green or a mix? It originally (in my memory) had a 60s/70s course weave with 4 petalled flowers in shades of turquoise blue/green which I'd love to replicate

& my phone is running out of battery.....back as soon as I can, sorry

I'd either go a bright purple, teal or leaf green. Or I'd go William Morris, Emma Shipley, Sanderson or Matthew Williamson or Designers Guild.

Matthew Williamson fabrics are divine!

@minipie I agree it would have legs.

I never saw it with legs going back to the mid 70s, so we will see, they didn't mention legs and its stripped back now I think

These were my final 2 and I have gone for the more abstract one

I am considering the other for curtains....maybe

Hi I'm thinking of buying some vintage Wingback armchairs and re-upholstering it with some Emma Shipley fabrics. Does anyone know - apart from fabric costs - what this is likely to cost for re-upholstering? Roughly?

I am having mine stripped back to the wood as my mum smoked Envy not envy!

Its costing about £900 the last fitted cover my mum had for it cost about £400 i think

Can you come back with a pic once it's done op? I am fascinated to know what the chair looks like under those loose covers!
