Perfect white paint

I suspect that this question has come up a million times, but....can you recommend the perfect white paint? Not F&B as decorator won’t use it. I don’t want any hint of cream or yellow, but also don’t want stark white....

Have you looked at any paint or testers? Dulux Timeless is a good neutral. I'm painting this morning and have the chart out. If you look at how they are laid out you can see the grey/yellow tones.

Dulux Timeless for me.

I've used Timeless by Dulux in 2 rooms. It's a lovely white colour. Doesn't look cold or clinical but definitely no yellow tones

I've just used crown spring white and it has a slight green/ turquoisy hint. Chosen to go with wallpaper.

Timeless has definite yellow tomes in my house.
We just used dulux white mist in dd room. It has the slightest hint of grey in it but only obvious on grey days next to the pbw ceiling.

I have timeless in my living room and it does have yellow tones....

Ah, I can't see any in my rooms but maybe it's the way they are facing. I've used Timeless in a room with teal and grey and in another room denim blue and I can't see any yellow from it. Looks really neutral to me.

I have Timeless throughout house and it looks pale cream to me. A sort of a warm glow. I use colours to accessories.

Might give white cotton a go!

White Cotton is paler and less yellow than Timeless.

It is either the aspect of the room that changes Timeless or I think some people just see things differently. Timeless is very yellow/creamy in my eyes, but others swear by it.

White Mist is a nice option too. Slightly cooler than White Cotton.

We used White Mist in a bathroom and it is definitely grey toned, verging on chilly. I don't think I'd use it in a whole house. Due to a shortage of eggshell paint in Timeless I've sent DH out to buy White Cotton, will report back.

Crown Beige White! Looks like a chalky white against my white skirting boards. I didn't want white , grey or cream so this works perfectly

Timeless is definitely warm in my bedroom. The emulsion looks positively cream next to the satinwood brilliant white picture rail.

White cotton for us, I love it, a soft, chalky white.

Can you get Johnstones Trade paint to make you up F&B Strong White?

Or Johnstone's to make you up F&B All White, it's my go to white! Johnstone's do a tester too, in any colour you wish, worth trying a few. Sail White by Crown(?) also nice.

Is it the Johnstown’s brand version of F&B all white? Is it expensive?

Look at crown trade white...or delux usually trade has a white not brilliant white ...you may need buy a 5l though

wilko chalk white ,i have it in bathroom and downstairs toilet , i love it .
its totally as name implies, but it is not stark or sterile.
i find it to be soft with some warmth , goes with everything.
