It's for above a fireplace. I've had my eye on it for a while but I guess it's a bit impersonal.

Otherwise possibly thinking of something like this

Honestly I'm rubbish at all this home decoration malarkey.

Room is decoration neutral with very light seafoam colour cushions and curtains.

I'm opening my mind up to a mirror.

If it were me, I’d make one of these. You could use old maps, or find oragami paper in lots of different colours.

It's really not my thing, what I'd call twee. I've also had a huge mirror over the fireplace, we moved last year and no longer have a fireplace but I still have the mirror on the wall above the sideboard.

I've got a huge wall empty and it's staying that way until I find a statement piece or two that make me shout "this".i e used art finder and houzz but so far I can't find what I want and I'm not prepared to compromise.

Dh is keen on a mirror.

Thee are some good ideas here about making things however I'm not in the least bit creative.

I'm a bit afraid of going too bold with things, I took ages deciding over chandeliers for the living and dining room, incase they were too much, but I absolutely love them now and could have gone even bigger.

I'm the same, I've learned to size up! It's surprising how much things get swallowed up by the space Smile
