I'm ready to be a grown up and get some good quality bedding but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for rubbish quality.
TIA!

BillywigSting · 03/07/2017 16:19

frenchfancy · 03/07/2017 16:19

Callmecordelia · 03/07/2017 16:21

House of Fraser Hotel collection.

RaspberryBeretHoopla · 03/07/2017 16:25

Yep House of Fraser sale. Great quality for a good price.

rollonthesummer · 03/07/2017 16:26

When does House of Fraser have its sale?!

WhiteHairReally · 09/07/2017 21:58

www.soakandsleep.com/bedroom/bed-linen?gclid=CLafw9SF_dQCFRaNGwodjSQDVQ

Even with a mumsnet seal of approval.

Although I haven't bought sheets from them, the pillows and bedspread I did buy were excellent.

There's a sale on too.

Would also vouch for good ol' John Lewis white 100% cotton. They iron well.

TKMaxx!

Synecdoche · 09/07/2017 22:07

IKEA

Abra1d · 09/07/2017 22:07

The White Company summer sale is currently on, if you're quick!

treaclesoda · 09/07/2017 22:07

La Redoute. They're always running promotions and discount codes.

MyCalmX · 09/07/2017 22:08

I've just bought linen from soak and sleep and 3 different versions of ivory were sent to me Hmm

Bit annoyed but will return and try somewhere else.

IWishYouWere · 09/07/2017 22:08

I second la redoute

CremeEggThief · 09/07/2017 22:08

My bedding from Primark I got 4 years is still going strong!

AgainPlease · 11/07/2017 20:25

The White Company (when they have a sale on)!

bouncydog · 12/07/2017 23:24

M&S 600 thread count cotton sateen in the sale. Last set I bought I got a super king size plus pillowcases for about £40 saving £160! I always buy white or ivory and only ever in the sales so that I can mix and match different pieces without being able to see any difference. FAbulous to sleep in.

Pancakeflipper · 12/07/2017 23:35

Had some very decent still used bedding from TKMAXX and Laura Ashley. Found the children's bedding great from L.Ashley (buy in sale they have one every month).
Been disappointed with John Lewis and M&S - too thin.

Still got a lovely white and yellow set going that must be over 13 yrs old from BHS.

Another vote for House of Fraser. I also have some from Tesco Finest, Aldi and Ikea. The HoF is by far the nicest quality. All but the ikea is Egyptian cotton.

newtlover · 12/07/2017 23:43

BHS Sad

LockedOutOfMN · 12/07/2017 23:45

I like JL but DH hates it! Says it's scratchy (Egyptian cotton).

Primark 100% cotton used to be good but I haven't bought any for 7 or 8 years so quality may have changed.

girlwhowearsglasses · 12/07/2017 23:46

Soak and sleep. Hands down

dontcallmelen · 15/07/2017 20:52

Laura Ashley in the sale, have a couple of really nice sets that wash really well, also Bedeck bedding in sales is excellent quality just charity shopped a few sets that I bought years ago, still going strong.

Squirrelfruitandnutkin · 16/07/2017 10:23

Ours is from soak and sleep - bought about 4 years ago.

The fitted sheet ripped- was too small for a standard double bed.
The duvet cover has ties to fasten it, they ripped through the duvet where they were seen on iyswim.
And the corners are all now thread bare.
I would not recommend them.

Ds has bedding set from Ikea which is 8yo and still going strong.

Sgtmajormummy · 18/07/2017 12:56

Another vote for www.justlinen.co.uk. Good discounts and very fast delivery on big names like Christy, Sanderson and Dorma.

wildbhoysmama · 18/07/2017 15:11

I second L Ashley- get softer and softer as u wash them and some great bargains in TK Maxx- I've had high count Egyptian cotton for crackdown prices. Dorma ( from Dunelm) is gorgeous to sleep in. Ikea definitely worth a mention as all their sets are 100% cotton which us especially great for kids, all 3 of my sons always have Ikea bedding two of which have sensitive/ eczema probe skin. All this is making me want to.slip into a nice, fresh bed right now!
