day trip to cape tribulation, afternoon tea at the Sheraton

babylily · 21/04/2005 13:46

Cape Tribulation definitely!
Do the railway out towards the atherton tablelands.
The reef of course.
Daintree river cruise for crocodile-spotting!

I was there a few years back, but it was sooo lovely.

Where abouts in Oz is that aaa? My Dad lives in Oz

LadyPenelope · 21/04/2005 14:25

There is a really nice fish restaurant on the wharf where they have a fish (marlin?) that they feed every evening ... very relaxed eating outside while the sun goes down with a glass of chilled white and a glass of prawns... mmmm.

There was a great wildlife park just outside PD which we really enjoyed... lots of birds, kangaroos to feed, etc. DD who was 2 at the time loved it. Sorry can't remember the name but it's well advertised.

Good sunday market in town with crafty stuff to buy...

Have fun. I'm so envious!
