Have booked a couple of nights away, without children, for the first time in years. I'm looking for somewhere swanky for dinner - just because we can. Any suggestions?

I went somewhere near the Botanical Gardens on a hen do earlier this year, but can't for the life of me think what it was called. Any ideas?

LOL - ah, happy memories. Malory, I didn't realise you were a local gal either. I'm still VERY close to home.

Kings Heath has an organic cafe now, you know AND a meditation cafe - it's gone up in the world! Oh - and a tapas restaurant!

King's Heath has definitely not gone up in the world. Far far down unfortunately.

janeite · 22/09/2008 21:13

Kitchen Garden - yes, I think that's what it's called.

I'll be honest - the last time I went to the shops in King's Heath (a couple of weeks ago) all I saw was Poundland-hell, but maybe I wasn't looking in the right places - my Mum had me on a mission to Boots and Somerfield.
