I love Tuscany but we are moving back to the UK. Where do you live?

The Cardiffians love it down there!

We're in the north west, it's OK.

doggiewalker · 21/02/2005 19:55

Mosschops thought you were in Cardiff?

2starbabes · 21/02/2005 19:56

I love Cape Town but still miss the UK - the grass isn't always greener on the other side (found out the hard way)

collision · 21/02/2005 19:57

Whereabouts doggiewalker?

lunavix · 21/02/2005 19:58

I've lived in Western Australia (nice but quiet), Bournemouth (my home town - and sadly far too studenty now IMO) and now West Berkshire - which I hate.

I do like being south, but tbh we will never be able to afford to buy, and seeing as dp looks quite keen to move after our wedding, I'd like to know where people love to live...

We're just outside Warrington, halfway between Liverpool and Manchester.

Hijacking Lunavix's thread, don't you like Cardiff then Mosschops30?

I've not been myself but we nearly had to relocate there as you prob know and most people love it.

collision · 21/02/2005 20:00

My parents are in Preston, so not far away.

lunavix · 21/02/2005 20:02

I was thinking of doing a degree parttime at Cardiff (and relocating us there for a few years) so actually I'm interested in knowing this!

ooh doggiewalker - my parents are in Cadishead, from Warrington originally.

Demented · 21/02/2005 20:03

Love might be too strong a word but I like living in Dunfermline, Scotland.

doggiewalker · 21/02/2005 20:06

Warrington's OK. Am from Yorkshire originally.

My son plays football and they play against Cadishead but I don't know it apart from that, 2SB.

2starbabes · 21/02/2005 20:07

wouldn't want to say anything either way in case I offend anybody doggiewalker. we recently moved 6000 miles and it is taking a monumental effort on my side to settle in despite all the pro's.

how are you with change?

We love living in Vienna

doggiewalker · 21/02/2005 20:25

We're not moving now Mosschops30. DH got a job offer local to where we are so no need to relocate.

I generally don't like change. I was fairly devastated at the thought of having to uproot initially, but did kind of come round to the idea, but now we don't have to do it anyway.

You moved a lot further away than I was having to do though 2SB.

maisystar · 21/02/2005 20:27

i love sheffield but god i would love to live somewhere warmer and drier

lunavix · 21/02/2005 21:54

I was thinking Birmingham, or Newcastle.. somewhere busier! More to do with ds.

I love where I live lunavix - Poole! I know what you mean about Bournemouth becoming studenty. It's a bit stag nighty now too on Saturdays.
