Holiday card game recommendations please!

As the title suggests, I’d love to know your best games using a deck (or two) of cards, for my family of four- me, DH and two DS 20 and 17. Thanks!

We play uno.

we have every varying type.

In fact I’ve just picked up 2 new ones today as ds birthday next week so I’ll give 1 for that and save one for Xmas!

With a traditional pack of playing cards, the best is Shed, more commonly known as **head.
If you don’t mind buying specific games, we like Sussed, Monopoly Deal, UNO, Happy Salmon, P for Pizza, Noggin and Dobble.
Not card games, but great to take on holiday: Bananagrams and Pass The Pigs.

Knockout Whist

We lay a form of rummy in our family. If you want to buy something, we really like Crew, both versions. It’s a collaborative game and quite addictive.

Definitely UNO. We played Liars Uno on holiday... total chaos...so funny.

Not cards but our best holiday game for all ages is dominoes. Young, old. Anyone can play.

That’s one of the ones I’ve just brought today.

Glad it’s good. Maybe I’ll give ds that one next week and save uno zero for Xmas?

With normal pack of cards pigtail & Newmarket are good. Card games you can buy skyjo or skyjo action - great games.

Exploding kittens with at least one expansion pack

Uno Extreme and Skipbo are our current favourites, similar aged children

We play a lot of Uno and also love Sleeping Queens although that may be too young for your DC to start now.
With a normal deck we play 500 or Oh Shit depending on how many players/ how long we plan to play for.
We also carry have a Canasta set for when we’re settling in for an evening

We play Canasta, Bridge, Whist, Hearts, Rummy & Shithead. Also Poker.

Think my teens would be a bit bored by UNO now.

If you want to buy a game rather than normal cards, Flip 7 is fun.

With normal cards - a game called Golf and Newmarket.

Also a big UNO fan.

Another super simple but funny card game is Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza.

Dik dik!

Rat a tat cat or Zeus on the loose. Both of these are a lot of fun.

Flip 7 if you want to buy a new game.

Old maid if you have a deck of normal cards though my kids are rubbish at this!

Cover your assets is funny too.

Dobble if you want a new card game.
With a standard set of cards we play rummy and sevens. If you have two packs of standard playing cards then canasta is good or you can use them to play rummikub without needing to take the tiles.

Exploding kittens can be fun.

P for Pizza, Taco,cat,goat,cheese,pizza, Herd Mentality and we've just bought Quick Stop for our upcoming holiday.

We played Peach Schnapps obsessively one holiday (they normally have a set in Waterstone's). You need very fast processing skills to win so teenagers love it!

Rat a tat cat. And bananagrams, obvs.
