Holiday card game recommendations please!

As the title suggests, I’d love to know your best games using a deck (or two) of cards, for my family of four- me, DH and two DS 20 and 17. Thanks!

phase ten is a combination of whist and rummy but you’ll need to buy the inexpensive set first.

I played a lot of cards as a child and teen and the game I enjoyed most was Queen of Spades, due to the fact you can enjoy doing the dirty to other family members.

DD appears to enjoy Uno Flip for the same reason.

We just learned Cheat on our holiday with kids/ teens (10-18 years) which was great fun, also lots of shit/ poo head with a standard deck of cards.

Our favourite card game just using a deck is Oh Hell. But it’s not better than exploding kittens with expansion packs

• Strip jack naked (nothing to do with stripping)

• slapjack
• Sevens
• go fish

Sevens is a great game. You can also play with 2 packs for extra challenge and a longer game. Gin rummy is also good if you keep scores, even better

My kids of similar ages play President with us and their friends.
