Where would you go for a last minute holiday next week given the heatwave?

Haven’t booked any thing yet as we were waiting for final confirmation of my schedule.

we had thought Paris but that seems like madness in this heat.

looking for ideas of where to go please. 5 nights, budget about £3k for a family of 4 but could stretch.

Stockholm is 30 degrees easily in Summer.

I would stick to the UK or Ireland.

Iceland is awesome but the problem you've got is that accomodation is extortionate in Iceland in the summer and especially booking last minute.

I've just recently been to Gdansk which was beautiful, Hamburg is somewhere I went last Dec and that will be lovely this time of year.

I just came back from Hamburg yesterday, we had high twenties with more to come.

But the Baltic Sea is nearby and nice for a breeze.
