I've been told australia a few times abd am just curious to find out what other people think of going such a long way. How do you cope. The more times ive been the easier it gets and it doesn't really seem that long. Which us your favourite destination? I wasn't that keen on sydney as I found it too busy. Canberra was boring. Perth was nice Wasn't keen on Brisbane but j absolutely loved Adelaide

I am a Canada-based flight attendant and fly to Australia frequently. I was just in Brisbane a few weeks ago. Do you mean "cope" with the flight and the jetlag? I find melatonin works. You can go to a chemist in Australia and they will prescribe you a short supply to help you adjust to the time change and get your sleep schedule back on track. It sounds like you've tackled most of the major cities, outside of Melbourne. What are you looking for in a holiday? I've always enjoyed the Gold Coast - it's the area between Brisbane and Byron Bay and is a bit like Hawaii with the beaches that stretch for miles.

It's amazing how in just one post a poster can be instantly recognisable. No one who has read your previous decimations of Australia would suggest you go again. You hated almost everything and were very rude. Remember?

Here you go, OP. Save everyone's time and just read through your previous thread in January. An Australian begged you not to come back, and you got bored of your own thread...

I remember you from a previous post! Well I am in Melbourne at the moment and absolutely loving it .Am off to Sydney on Friday 🥳🥳

Hah! Just read your previous post . Well one thing is for sure, you are certainly obsessed with Australia by wanting to discuss it again nearly a year on even though you don’t like most of it . I guess you have a very limited appreciation of diversity.

gishgalloping · 26/11/2025 05:21

In your last thread you said you were bored by Adelaide, bored by Kangaroo Island, didn’t like Sydney but also didn’t want to see areas outside of cities, bored by Canberra but enjoyed seeing Home & Away being filmed. Maybe international travel just isn’t for you.

Yep, the minute I started reading the OP I could tell that it was the same poster who wrote so scathingly about the country earlier.

I suggest you either stay at home or try somewhere else.

I don’t think any of your posts are serious. Who, honestly, would go half way across the world for a nice coffee shop.

Jemma8 · 26/11/2025 10:20

But wasn't Adelaide a disappointment because there was no hop-on-hop-off bus (unlikely in such a small city) and whilst despite not enjoying botanic gardens, you went to the botanic gardens, which you didn't like because you couldn't find a cafe (there are two)?
