Had to be done!

Norway: Tromso to meet the huskies; Northern Lights excursion: Bergen to Oslo train ride. Loved all of it. So clean. English spoken everywhere. great food.
Switzerland: just so beautiful.
Lymington, Hampshire: fabulous market; sea; New Forest on the doorstep; lots of interesting, independent shops; great restaurants. Used to live here and it was like being on holiday all the time!
The Cotswolds: again, just so beautiful.

Paris: there's just nowhere like it, and it's so walkable.
Edinburgh: it's like having all the best bits of London put together in a much more sensible compact space! Some great restaurants too.

Turkey. So often slated but if you avoid marmaris it is beautiful.

Halkidiki had some stunning beaches.

Corfu was so relaxed and lovely.

Romania was great fun, we did the Bran castle tour.

Lanzarote was cheep and cheerful and always an easy reliable place to go.

Madeira was interesting and nice for a change.
