Waterpark but not Siam Park, and not US

Hello,

We LOVE Siam Park but have been three times, and looking for something as good (well, can't be, as it's No1!).

I do NOT want to go to the US, or anywhere like Dubai/UAE.

I'd quite like a hotel where the waterpark is on site or very near by.
Ideally not AI, as that's never worth it for us (vegan, tee-total). But won't rule out AI if it's good value and has vegan options.

tia

Rulantica At Europa Park?

MissMarvelMum · 12/06/2025 21:39

We have done portaVentura in salou that’s fab. There is the theme park, water park and Ferrari land. We are going back on Monday, and I hope to go along to aquapolis too. in December we are going to Tenerife and plan to do Siam park for the first time x

Some years ago we stayed at the Olympic Lagoon in Cyprus. It was a lovely hotel with it's own lazy river and a few minutes walk from a decent water park.

MellowPinkDeer · 12/06/2025 21:48

Go to Atlantis in the Bahamas. That’s ace.

We have been to Salou, and PortAventura was fab! Kinda want somewhere new, but my children were quite young when we went and will barely remember it, so definitely could consider doing it again. Hope you have a brilliant time.

Siam Park is absolutely fantastic (if you love waterparks!).

Looks it, but a little out of my price range at the moment.

My boys love a water park. Siam is the best. Been Dubai but you don’t want to go there. They have loved Cyprus paphos, just outside vilamoura one, one in Croatia

but Siam is the best

Ha, yeah, Siam is absolutely wonderful. Just really want a change, ideally. But weighing that up against a known-to-us park that is fabulous, I am not against doing Siam again.

I’ve heard good things about Aqualandia in Benidorm. If you don’t fancy staying in Benidorm you could always stay in Altea/ Calpe/Javea/Moraira.

Alternatively, my ds were impressed with Etnaland in Sicily when we visited a few years ago.

I'm not a fan of water parks so don’t know how they compare to Siam Park.

Caspianberg · 13/06/2025 06:02

Gardaland?
Next to Lake Garda, north Italy

DillyDallyingAllDay · 13/06/2025 06:06

Land of legends in antalya

Rulantica is fabulous, and you can combine with Europapark next door.

Gardaland Resort looks fun or tropical island resort Germany

Clearinguptheclutter · 13/06/2025 07:22

not been to Siam park (yet) but mine loved slide and splash in the algarve. It probably was one of the best days out we’ve had as a family. However we managed to go at an off peak time which made a difference I think

minnienono · 13/06/2025 07:23

Went to one in the south of France that the kids loved, aqualand or something like that. I’m not keen on my head going under so I was doing the important looking after the bagsGrin

I've been to a few and Siam is the best. My DC were probably 12 when we first went and 18/19 the last time we went as a family. DS2 now 26 went last year with his partner.
They never got bored with it and lesser water parks were a disappointment in comparison.

We feel the same, it really is epic. Just really fancied a change.

Am looking at this already, it's quite expensive though. But looks good.

I like the look of the Rulantica one too, has anyone got a package deal recommendation?

We went to good one in Corfu. There was a hotel and apartments on the site but don’t know how good they are. I thought the park itself was great.

ARichtGoodDram · 13/06/2025 09:43

I was about to suggest the Corfu Aqualand.

We stayed in the on site apartments and it was great. The apartments were basic, but clean and had everything we needed.

LightBuIb · 13/06/2025 10:14

Thanks, have already done Corfu when my children were much younger. Looking at something with bigger thrills like Siam. Like Dubai/US, but not Dubai/US!

I am leaning towards Rulantica, or Land of Legends if I can make the £ work out.
Siam Park has always come in at a lower-end budget, as we stay in one of the SC hotels and use the free bus.
