Swimsuits, how many?

Beach holiday for 7 nights, how many would you bring? I only own 1 and it's seen better days, havnt been abroad for 10 years, back then I probably would of taken about 5 but buying them now isn't quite so easy now I'm a few stones heavier.

I would take 3

2 or 3 in your shoes I’d prob buy two and take the old one as back up.

but that’s easier said than done I know.

Two. One to wear while the other is drying, or one to pose in one to swim in!

Two. One to wear while the other dries. Especially if you’re going to a hot country where it’ll dry quickly!

I normally take 3, but you could get away with 2.

I have 3 packed for my weeks holiday. M&S and Sainsbury’s TU have really flattering ones with proper arse cover.

2 is enough. But take as many as you want or can fit into your luggage !

They don't take up much space in your luggage - I'd aim for 3 but if you end up with more, so be it!

I took three each for me and DD (17), we definitely only needed two so I’d go with previous advice and buy two, take the oldie as a backup.

Yeah 3 for me. I’d get 2 new ones and take the old as spare.

but I’d have one for beach and one for pool!

Depends if you have laundry facilities available.

If not then I guess you'd need ten.

Bit perplexed at people saying two - they're basically the same as underwear and surely people don't wear the same underwear five days running.

I'm not known for travelling light but would take at least three.

I hate going for lunch in soggy swimwear so will change into a dry one at lunchtime. I need a decent underwired bikini top that I can't generally get from a hotel/beach shop abroad so tend to have a couple of spares just in case.

I rinse mine out when in the shower after the beach and before going out for dinner.

Ten is insane.

Two will be more than enough. I'd get a couple of decent sets rather than a load of cheap ones. M&S are good and you can often get them in their outlets or Vinted or ebay. They do nice beach dress cover ups too for when you go for lunch or sightseeing.

Two but could get away with one really by just hanging to dry overnight.

one piece or separates? And are you big in chest?
I wear separates and due to my size they are not small pieces so drying is not quick. I usually take 3, two are similar colours so I can mix and match.
You might escape with two if you put them to dry on top of beach umbrellas. It helps.

I would take 3, 2 would be the minimum.

I take three - one for the morning, one for the afternoon and then one spare in case they haven’t dried

I've never taken more than one, seems to be the only person who does though!
