Have we ruined our DisneyWorld trip?

I need some reassurance or advice. We are due to fly to Florida for DisneyWorld this afternoon with SC and DS. We have little knowledge of international travel, I knew we needed ESTAs but didn’t understand the process. I checked with in-laws who are organising the whole trip if they had sorted ESTAs, and they said they had. Obviously I misunderstood that they were talking about their ESTAs only and not ours. We applied yesterday afternoon as soon as we realised we didn’t have ESTAs. Still pending authorisation. I am hugely panicking now that we won’t get them in time to check-in.

I’m just not so sure about the ride system they have now, even if you do rope drop it doesn’t seem very certain that you get to ride everything you want. But, I’d be happy with just the toilet area around Rapunzel right now tbh! 😂

No don’t like the lightening lane malarkey and tbh never made rope drop as never wake up in time ☹️

How is your holiday going @Odellio? Is it what you expected?

It’s going really well thank you, better than expected! I wasn’t sure to expect much from DS being only 2, I thought maybe he’d find the parks too overwhelming and we’d have a lot of tantrums. But he’s loving it all, especially the buses between parks as he keeps telling me.

DH is in planning mode everyday and SC are in their element. I’m just pottering along, going on the chill rides and eating icecream.
