What’s your budget and where would you like to go (rough area)

Forgottenmyphone · 14/06/2024 07:50

Grecotel Marine Palace in Crete

rookiemere · 14/06/2024 08:07

Not been to many to be fair, but the quality of food and drinks at Seaside Los Jameos in Lanzarote was excellent, and it was properly AI as opposed to paying a kings ransom to then having to pay extra for a cocktail with branded spirits or pepperoni on your pizza.

Travelcrazy · 14/06/2024 08:13

@Smithhy preferably Caribbean this time about £2.5k each in April.
I am interested in suggestions for everywhere though for future holidays.

The best I have been to is probably the Valentin Imperial in Mexico, it is brilliant.

We had a perfect holiday at Barut B Suites in Side, Turkey last year. Honestly, I can't think of 1 negative apart from some of the drinks weren't AI but we found plenty that were so it didn't bother us

Bohemond23 · 14/06/2024 08:18

Domes Zeen Chania with Haute Living.

MalewhoisLaffinalltheway · 14/06/2024 11:05

@Travelcrazy

Ikos in Corfu takes some beating.
In the Caribbean, Sugar Bay Barbados.

lumpybumpydumpy · 14/06/2024 12:34

Definitely Ikos I've been to three so far Dassia corfu was my favourite but looking at this as would like to do a combination of some sightseeing week one then a really nice AI second week somewhere warm in January so the mexico suggestion looks great

Travelcrazy · 14/06/2024 15:05

Definitely the Ikos hotels. Stella island in Crete also was fab.

Cattery · 14/06/2024 15:12

Sandals Barbados. Loads of restaurants to choose from. Swim up rooms as an option. Went in March. Loved it

Turmerictolly · 14/06/2024 18:45

Sunlight/ Starlight hotel, Side, Antalya Turkey

spuddy4 · 14/06/2024 19:21

Stella Island in Crete and Moon Palace in Mexico. I've been to Stella Island a few times and it's worth upgrading to the water bungalows.

Canyoudigityesyoucan · 14/06/2024 19:23

Mayia Exclusive Resort in Rhodes.

I think there’s a real lack of good AI in carribean which aren’t £5k each, you’d be better off in Europe later in year!

MagnumsPIsMustache · 14/06/2024 19:23

Le Sport, St Lucia. You get a spa treatment every day.

ridingfreely · 14/06/2024 19:23

Baia Lara in Antalya turkey

cherryassam · 14/06/2024 19:40

In the Caribbean, Cap Maison or Anse Chastanet on St Lucia or Guana Island, BVI. For chains, Excellence, Secrets, most of the Sandals.

Mexico - La Casa de la Playa (and the other Xcaret resorts)

Europe - the Ikos resorts are genuinely great. I also rate the Domes resorts,
anything by Mar-Bella, and the Iberostar Selection range. Turkey - love Hillside Beach Club, and the Maxx Royal resorts.

Lovepeaceunderstanding · 14/06/2024 19:43

IKOS by a country mile.
