Another vote for Ikos. Rendezvous in St Lucia was pretty special as was buccament bay in st Vincent. The Caribbean ones I stayed in pre covid so it's been a few years.

Would second this but it’s shut for renovations for a good few months next year!

I think it's so personal.
When we went to the Seaside Los Jameos, we were only half board but went out for dinner (as well as lunch) at least twice if not three times as we found the food repetitive. The long queues at peak times were also off putting. On the other hand, being half board there did mean that the DC spent the afternoons looking longingly at the AI kids with their waffles & ice cream.

For couples the Heritage Awali golf and spa resort as a family Beach Rotano Abu Dhabi

The Heritage Awali is in Mauritius

Riu Palace in Santa Maria Cape Verde

Galley Bay, Antigua. Probably out of budget though. Also enjoyed Sandals Antigua.
Ikos around Med have all been fantastic. Also had a great stay at Gran Melia Palacio Isora in Tenerife,.slightly cheaper

Xanadu in belek, Turkey. Even laundry was included in AI as well as premium drinks and snakcs plus you could eat in any of the restaurants for no extra. True AI rather than ones where you still have to pay for some bits

@bellsbuss can you tell me more about the Rotano please also what is the beach like? do they have evening entertainment? Thank you

@Travelcrazy the beach isn't the best but the children weren't bothered, there are 10 restaurants with live music etc in each. We didn't use the children's club so not sure what entertainment they had in there. Restaurants were amazing

Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an on the mayan riveria - amazing, small scale resort. We stayed in the penthouse suite with a hot tub on the balcony.

Paradisus on the Riviera Maya in Mexico. It's the only resort I've ever visited more than once.

Best one was Heritage Awali in Mauritius.
With Kids loved Coconut Bay St Lucia though beach not good as not on the Caribbean side.
Tui Sensatori Atlantica Caldera Place in Crete
