Newcastle airport hotels

Anyone got any recommendations for somewhere to stay that isn’t on booking.com? Everything is booked up for the dates we need and I’m panicking!

Have you looked at the Premier Inn? They aren't on Booking.com and the one at the airport is about 2 mins away from the terminal!

We’re landing in Newcastle at 23:58 so I’ve booked the Premier Inn airport hotel. Their site has walking directions from the terminal but they also advise to ring ahead if you’re arriving late. The price was good at the time of booking (6 mo ahead) but not sure at short notice.

or what about staying in Newcastle and getting Metro to airport, is that an alternative if everything close is booked?

I’ve had a look in Newcastle too but again, very little available. Either very expensive or hostel type accommodation.

Have you tried the Holiday Inn in Jesmond? On the direct metro line from the airport

There's a few options if you look on Google but most need a car l

Metro Inns at Kenton Bank has availability tomorrow. Close to airport.

Some do offer single nights but you’d be taking a risk if they’re slow to answer.

The Hilton Doubletree at the airport has availability.

OP the best approach I find is to do a search for Hotels on google maps in the general area you want. Pop in your dates and it should only show prices only for available places.

As PP have said Metro Inn looks to have space. Cheap and cheerful. As does the Premier Inn Newcastle/Gosforth and the Gosforth Park Hotel. Bit more expensive and These will require a 20minute taxi ride to the airport.

Have you looked at this premier inn OP? It's about a 10/15 mins drive away from the airport and has availability

The flight is at 7.30 so as close as possible! Five miles?

Premier inn in Cramlington? Not quite as close to the airport as you'd like but maybe less likely to be full of people going to the Springsteen gig

Or is there anywhere in Ponteland?
