Anyone got any recommendations for somewhere to stay that isn’t on booking.com? Everything is booked up for the dates we need and I’m panicking!

Have you tried the Travelodge? You will need to either take a taxi or walk up from the metro depending on luggage and arrival time but it's not bad, it's my go to when I stay. The Britannia isn't as bad as you might think either, is that full as well? Newcastle airport is very well served by the metro so you could look at anywhere near a station?
