I spent my childhood going to the same destination on the Adriatic as DM is Italian and born there. We then went to Wengen for our honeymoon, and back again a couple of times. We now go to Sardinia, same place, same hotel.

I like certainty, and predictability. I am not a good traveller so need to have routine. I Iike the family feel of going back to somewhere you know. We are now close friends with the hotelier in Sardinia and get preferential rates and rooms.

Theres a couple of places I've been to more than once.

Been to the same holiday cottage in Devon 4 times.

We would have stopped at 3x, but the last time being during 2020 when we wanted a holiday. It was a great place and a good location.
