Where would you honeymoon in this situation

5 kids between us. Second marriage. Lucky to have a good budget. Don't mind flights up to 10ish hours from London. Love all food, little bars and adventure. But wouldn't mind two nights of luxury as part of a 5 night trip (kids mean we can't stay for longer). Don't really want Nordic, Caribbean, US (just because we've done that a lot) or anything we would normally do as a family. Something more exciting ..... GO ......

Venice?

Aix en Provence - night in Paris, hop to Aix for three days in the med sun, back to Paris on the TGV first class for a blow out dinner and home.

I have been to Venice in June for a week and it was glorious. It's so expensive and busy by reputation at least people do very short breaks. There is something wonderful about exploring the city at your leisure, particularly late at night when the ferries and cruise ships have gone for the day and there is such silence.

That place is heaven. The safari in the crater is the best thing I have done in my life albeit nearly 40 years ago. Can't wait to go back..

Oman or Jordan?

I would head due south or north to minimise jet lag. South Africa is wonderful as is Kenya. North, maybe a Fjords cruise or Scottish Highlands - very romantic places to stay there like the Torridon Hotel.

It's French... in the Indian ocean, easy to get to flying from Paris. You can get flights as cheap as £497 return.
It is absolutely beautiful.
I'm desperate to go back.
